I have an ancient "Westernfield" M500A which is just a Mossberg 500 branded for the old Montgomery Ward store. When I got it it had a slug barrel and a field forend. I had to replace the action bars as they were bent and I got an old Mav 88 barrel that someone let the last 8 inches or so rust. I ordered a corncob fore end, the action bars and a replacement metal safety from Gun Parts corp. I chopped the old Mav barrel down to 18.5 inches (measured on the gun) with a pipe cutter, mounted the internal parts, put the corncob fore end on and refinished the original beat-to-crap wood stock. I think my total cost for the gun came out to less than $200 and it's built exactly the way I want it.

The STR 9 is way better (IMO). I never carry less than a 4" barrel nowadays, so this handgun is perfect for me. It eats everything and never a FTF or FTE and rated for +P and +P+.

As someone who’s first gun was a maverick 88 I agree it’s super fun to shoot and accurate also I have the carry cut, optics cut, threaded barrel version of the dagger compact and it’s also a great carry gun since I’m 19 and can only open carry here in az

I had to rewind the clip on the savage rifle barrel length comment "i got 22inches, but you can get them smaller, it depends what she likes". Or however you said it, pretty funny😂!

I recently saw the Arex Delta gen 2 (non-optics) version for $299. And there was a promotion that included 5 mags total.

I was lucky enough to pick up an original shield when they were still $279 with rebates (locally, PA). It’s so much better than you would expect at that price, I have never had a malfunction in hundreds (1k+?) rounds.

Bought a Tisas px9 gen3 a few months ago at a local gun shop for $286. Great shooting 9mm with 18&20 rd sig mags. Lots of extras and cycled 115 grn range loads flawlessly fresh out of the box.

I bought one too. The trigger, ergos and parts compatibility are so nice. I wanted a Canik TP9, but it had sold so got the PX-9 instead.
Lots of people question why I got it because they've never heard of it, until they shoot it 😝

Gforce AR-12, came with 2 -5 round mags, I ran 160 rounds of 2 3/4" 00buck through mine the day I got it no issues. When I took it apart to clean it, found out it was made with Benelli parts, Got mine used for $250( looked brand new), they sell brand new for $299.99 from the factory. Stock is kinda long and is not adjustable, but worth the money.

I have Glocks fully customized great guns but I really love the G3C ...I got a good one. Had a holster made bought a few 17 round mags. I can group tight one handed. I have a bad left shoulder so this has been my CC for a few months after feeding a few thousand rounds. Rail lube and cleaning is key to success. I also have a extar carbine. Had to replace the trigger put a red dot and light on it and you can't go wrong for 400

My first shotgun was an m88. It was kind of my project gun. I loved the walking dead and had it when the show was around season 2 where they were rocking the 590 police shotguns. I was essentially trying to turn it into one of those. That and my axis were about the coolest things i had at 14ish.

I currently have a Security 380 that I traded a PDP for, I like the Security 380 so much, I probably wouldn't have it if I bought the Security-9 instead of the PDP

I'd bought the Maverick 88, several years ago, for my daughter, when she first moved out and into her home. I liked it so much, I bought one for me too! Of course, I have added some goodies to it, to upgrade its defense capability. They are sweet shooting shot guns. Its my go to, home defense weapon! "Because shotguns blow shit off!" 😵
