[Film Contest] A Beautiful War (Crossover&Epic Song)

This work was selected as the grand prize at the '2022 Saemangeum Video Content Contest'.
'2022 새만금 영상 콘텐츠 공모전'에서 최우수상에 선정된 작품입니다.
The primary theme was the constructive/historical/geographic meaning of the Saemangeum Seawall (and reclaimed land, and the surrounding natural environment) in Korean society, but ultimately, it talks about the fact that its achievements contain a message of peace to mankind around the world.
As of 2022, thousands of people have lost their lives due to the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the world is in fear and sorrow of destruction.
At such a time, the fact that a small country in Northeast Asia filled the sea for the past 20 years and created the world's longest seawall and reclaimed land equivalent to 2/3 of Seoul's area goes beyond the meaning of land expansion for a country, and is called 'pioneering towards Mother Nature'. It must be the manifestation of the positive and noble nature of human civilization.
새만금방조제(와 간척지, 그리고 주변 자연환경)가 갖고 있는 한국사회에서의 건설적/역사적/지리적 의미를 1차 주제로 하였으나, 궁극적으로는 그 성과가 세계 인류에게 평화의 메세지를 품고 있음을 이야기 합니다.
2022년 현재, 러시아와 우크라이나의 전쟁으로 인하여 수많은 사람들이 목숨을 잃고, 세계는 파멸에 대한 공포와 슬픔에 빠져 있습니다.
이런 시기에 동북아시아의 작은 나라가 지난 20년 간 바다를 메워 세계최장의 방조제와 서울면적의 2/3에 달하는 간척지를 만들어냈다는 것은 한 나라의 토지 확충의 의미를 넘어서서 ‘대자연을 향한 개척’이라는 인류문명의 긍정적이고 숭고한 본성이 발현된 것임에 틀림없습니다.
