Sheera gotta understand that just like how spikes are fast af, when a spike gets blocked and hit down at an angle it's also fast af. It's not like the libero or the other spikers can just instantly move to save the ball every single time a spike is blocked lmao
Also she has to understand that Karasuno players can't cover the whole court with their roles : Nishinoya wasn't there in that rotation since Tsukishima is serving, and if he is, he can't cover the whole court. Daichi, Tanaka and Asahi are probably preparing themselves in case Kageyama sets the ball to them and not Hinata. If they go to cover Hinata in case he gets blocked, they are basically telegraphing the setup to Tendo : Hey we are covering Hinata, so Hinata will hit
Tendo is probably my favorite character in Shiratorizawa just cause of his personality, but his play style is so creative, and the block he does where he slides his hands the opposite way, when my teammates do that, that's kinda to keep the ball "roofed" inwards inside court lines And ik this is anime but honestly, irl imagine the power you do to hit the ball, that gets blocked, and imagine the same or similar speed as that ball comes down, and the libero or anyone else needs to slide their hand barely in between the ball and ground, it's insane! And in volleyball, any part of the body works to get the ball up (besides using the upside of the palm to keep that ball up, that's what we call a "carry".)There have been many times where even professional players get hit square in the face, but they don't get a "foul" cause it's not intentional. Players always get through these accidents lol, you either just gotta get up and go, or sit out if it's too tough of a hit
13:02 Yamaguchi is not trash. He was switched after his serve it's because they call him a Pinch Server. Normally Pinch Server is called to change the momentum and the coach can switch them out if not effective. Also, as what I experienced in playing volleyball, Pinch Servers either have a powerful or any tricky serve.
Sheera needs to understand how fast the ball is going when the enemy team blocks AND Karasuno usually has multiple people attacking the net at once so they don't have people defending if it fails. They rely on this confusion method of attacking to score.
I love how you're still clowning Tsukki's brother even when he shows up in the interval. 😂 Seriously though, Tendou's a fan favourite for a reason and is arguably the one that we get the most insight on from the Shiratorizawa team.

The upsides to this is its hard for blockers to coordinate and read the spike when 5 players are swinging at the same time. The downside is if you do get blocked there isn't anyone left to cover the blocked spike. The style your describing is more how Nekoma plays knowing they don't have huge attacking power they emphasize the team covering areas and focusing on getting the ball up."
@2:01 I don't think she understands how their offense works. There is no one to block follow because EVERYONE is attacking to confuse the defenders and rack up points. They accept they will give up points to blocks in the belief that more will get through then be blocked and as this run has proven the strategy works as long as you stay unpredictable. That is the point of that blocker being introduced because he threatens to destroy their strategy on his own.
gotta be honest, I was extremely annoyed by Hinata at the beginning of season 4, like I get that he wants to improve for the sake of the team too, but can't he just be happy for his teammates that they got to these training camps instead of "what about me what about me what about me" the entire time, no not even a little "congrats guys" or sth like that. In the end I don't feel like this any longer because the payoff we got in turn was INCREDIBLE but I completely understand if they were to react like I first did.
Sheera gotta understand that the ball its actually faster, and that everyone has their own position to play, if everyone it's at the front they're exposed at the back.
@@chegg4312 you do know that it's always 5 people attacking right? Nishinoya its mostly always at the back. And they do that synchronized attack bc it has high rate of scoring.
In volleyball, it is pretty much required to say "one touch" or "touch" when you get a tip on the block to let your teammates know to go for the ball if they can. In real life, play is much faster and it is pretty much impossible sometimes to actually see if your guy touched it or not when going for the ball. So the blocker mentioning the touch can mean the difference between a point for your team or a point for the other team!

Some of y’all need to relax as if everybody was a volleyball player before watching lmao. Also, not everyone has watched the show multiple times to notice every little thing that happens nor do they have the benefit of analyzing knowing what happens next.
Here's a fact that you will notice in the last 3 episodes from the season. The voice actor from ukai coach (Kazunari Tanaka) passed away due to a hemorrhage in the brain stem on October 10th, 2016. RIP, he was and excellent seiyū (that's how they call the voice actors). I love to see your reactions and prepare yourselfs for what si coming, believe me is not allowed fir cardiacs. They say "one touch" to tell their team that they touched it, if they touch it and it goes out its the other team point. Its also to tilt the opponent setter as well.
What she was talking about is actually Karasuno's weakness. BECAUSE they send everybody forward to attack they can score a lot, but they also can't really follow blocks
Thank you. People are acting like she's being supremely critical. The truth is that this is one of their weaknesses. It doesn't make them a bad team; it's just something they should work on more often. (And before someone comes to attack me, I played volleyball at the high school level, so I know what I'm talking about here.)
Season 3 is so unexpectedly amazing. It seems like the pacing could be slow going into it, but you're left on the edge of your seat in every episode. I am not typically a sports person, but I was left screaming at my television in this season for fictional characters and I feel like that is a special moment I wouldn't have gotten if not for this show.
14:32 did dat because it was the last touch, in volleyball the team can only touch the ball 3 times and hit it over with the 3rd touch as its absolute last
recieving the ball looks very easy in the anime, but realistically it all happens in a matter of a second so these block outs are really hard to recieve

Ushijima is genuinely a good guy, he’s not a dick and he’s not a hater. He’s just blunt with his words and presents the harsh truth at times, even if the words are hurtful he’s honest about it, if he realizes that he hit a sensitive spot he’ll apologize. He doesn’t do well with communication, and he’s kinda oblivious aka an airhead at times, that’s why people see him like that cause they don’t understand him. The reason why he dislikes hinata so much is because he can’t understand him and things Ushijima can’t understand are unknown to him and he doesn’t like the unknown. Ushijima is a genuinely nice guy, just understand that he’s upfront about and speaks his mind and that he doesn’t do much social interaction.
Also, you can’t hate someone just cause their better then the protagonist. We get yah like hinata and cheer and wish for him to win but, remember hinatas not always gonna win or the team.
The next episode literally has one of the best moments of the entire season, matter a fact one of the best moments of the whole show tbh. Cant wait to see you guys react to it.
Ukai said in the first season that it's impossible to safe all rebound balls from blocks. when nishinoya was training this specific "safe" he also explained that it's too fast, nobody -maybe people like hinata but even like this it's not like they can save ALL of them and it can cause fatigue - has that crazy reflexes... it's where the anime shows the "human" in the sport
I get why people were mad at Sheera for saying that no one's receiving the blocked balls but she had a point where there's supposed to be a block follow and I wish they explored Nishinoya with that more since they did show that in season 1 with Date Tech. It's just that she doesn't always understand the fast pacing of the game and this anime just really slows it down for us to visualize the athlete's perspective properly. Regarding Coach Washijo, y'all are gonna love him after season 4 lol.
I get what you're saying, but Nishnoya does cover blocks, and we do see it occasionally. The fact of the matter is that covering blocks is honestly the rarest and possibly most difficult thing to do in volleyball. The reason the main critique of covering blocks is frustrating some people is because having blocks hit the floor is a common scoring occurrence. Getting mad every time a ball drops here is like being mad every time an opponent scores a shot in basketball: scoring is going to happen; you can't stop everything.
@@PlanetHouston Completely agreeing with everything you said! I only knew more about volleyball through Haikyuu and seeing some of the match compilations of actual volleyball matches makes me ask the question "Yo where'd the ball go?" most of the time before they play the slowmo. I admire the athletic skill these players have in general to react and use their reflexes so quickly. Unfortunately it's gonna be a while before we see Sheera even comes to realize this. someone may be try to hit an opponent sometimes, but: 1-it's inefficient, you may lose the point 2-you hit in the general area, not in that 1x1 inch square with that guy forehead (whitch is also moving very fast)
13:11 Once again, CLAPS UP for the Editor. You made my day 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love that Shira's nickname for Oikawa is "Neck", it's funny af
12:25 yup, Tsukki was so nice haha~!
Eemmm Sheera, a voleyball player HAS to look at where he/she is gonna hit, in order to know if that place is free or if there’s a receiver there.
we need a compilation video of Lupasan's extreme laughing. He cracks me up every time lmaoooo
6:46 *In unison* “Let’s go!l” Rossi: “...Yeah?” XD
the love i have for tendou is so unexplainable it’s crazy
Dub watchers be like: "HEY! IT'S MISTA VANILLA!"
Si much love from Colombia 🔥🇨🇴

Roshi: Let’s Go!
Lupa: Let’s Go!
Roshi: Yeah? 👀
6:46
"We are the ultimate fusion: Rosha!"
They say "one touch" to tell their team that they touched it, if they touch it and it goes out its the other team point. Its also to tilt the opponent setter as well.
3:58 LMAOOO NOT THE HISOKA VOICEOVER😂
09:27 y'all are always doing our boi dirty lmao 🤣
Tsukki: block breathing technique sixth form; total defense
9:27 That was very subtle BUT I saw the disrespect 😂😂
What she was talking about is actually Karasuno's weakness. BECAUSE they send everybody forward to attack they can score a lot, but they also can't really follow blocks
Thank you. People are acting like she's being supremely critical. The truth is that this is one of their weaknesses. It doesn't make them a bad team; it's just something they should work on more often. (And before someone comes to attack me, I played volleyball at the high school level, so I know what I'm talking about here.)
favorite character from haikyuu i love him
Season 3 is so unexpectedly amazing. It seems like the pacing could be slow going into it, but you're left on the edge of your seat in every episode. I am not typically a sports person, but I was left screaming at my television in this season for fictional characters and I feel like that is a special moment I wouldn't have gotten if not for this show.
This girl be thinking like you could always get those blocked balls. It was already stated at season one that it aint possible to do that
"Son I've never seen such epic hand animation"
Kazuma: am I a joke to you
14:32 did dat because it was the last touch, in volleyball the team can only touch the ball 3 times and hit it over with the 3rd touch as its absolute last
It just hit me that Lupa has the same energy as the trucker hat guy. Cheering when they do something good but talking trash when they don't.
Tendou is just like goalkeeping, when there's only the goalkeeper and the striker, 50% technique 50% instinct lol
Roshi has provided the perfect line to describe Lupa in all these reactions
"He's trolling. He doesn't know what he's talking about" 😂
also you mentioned that "They are less scary to me now that we are playing them." This episode showed one key thing. That they are beatable.
3:16 There! Can a normal person react that fast, Sherra? It's literally 1 frame fast
Sheera just built different bro
3:35 *"I have never such epic hand animation"*
Kazuma in the movie: *"Am I joke to you?"*
Cringe
@@jvnovember315 😑😬
I LAUGHED SO HARD AT THE CLOWNSHIMA EYE CATCHER LMAO
I LOVE HOW THEY STILL CALL OIKAWA “NECK” LMAOOO
It's cause they don't give a fuck to remember anyone elses name
recieving the ball looks very easy in the anime, but realistically it all happens in a matter of a second so these block outs are really hard to recieve
9:28
The editor sneaked in a little tsukkis brother shade in there 😂😂😂
As a Jamaican, that "A wah di bloodclaat" at 3:15 really surprised me
when the ball hits the defense wall, it's usually in 100+ km/h really hard to safe it. Those are the hardest to safe.
3:16 wait !!! I’m new here!😩😩😩🥴 so mans on the extreme right is Jamaican??😂😂😂 I was shocked when he said “weh di bloodclaat”😂😂💀💀 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲..love the reaction‼️
Shira gonna be so happy in season lmao
As I've read in another comment thread, they got heat from Patreon because Sheera does this all the time and kind of slowed down this season.
THE AKITERU CLOWN EDIT IN THE COMMERCIAL BUMPER STOPPPPP SPECIFICALLY CUTTING TO THE WIDE SHOT JUST TO SHOW IT FUCKING KILLED ME
Been waiting for this episode for weeks
