A budget rear motor class would be cool. Sort of like vintage racing, but with vehicles you can actually get parts for! My old JRX2 sits on the shelf. Lol!
Too bad there aren't that many options for those these days. ARRMA's pretty much gotten rid of all their rear-motor RWD cars in favor of the "BOOST 4x2" system, so it's really just Traxxas, Associated, HPI, a few Tamiya kits and one Kyosho. And honestly, it might as well just be Traxxas and Associated at this point, people don't really race Tamiya kits outside of spec classes, Kyosho's kinda fallen from a major player to an obscure niche brand, and for some reason just mentioning HPI these days causes people to go into an irrational hate-induced rage. Well, there's also ECX but they're barely around anymore either.
What tires do you recommend for the b7 at big dog and what’s a good motor to use it’s a two hour drive for me so I’m trying to cut f do own on the guess work. Your vids are cool you do things I use to do /0 years ago
It was very interesting to watch the two cars on the track. The Bandit handled well. You definitely had an issue with the table top corner. How much heavier is the Bandit? I am an old man. A lot older than you. When I started r/c racing the cars had mechanical speed controls. One thing I found that when I drive practice sessions for longer than five or six minutes my concentration is not as good. It is as if my brain is trained to stay focused for a certain amount of time.
I’m actually the opposite. At the beginning of a race I make lots of mistakes and around halfway through I get focused, but by then it’s usually too late 😂
Mate I have been enjoying the Bandito series, I have been trying to get a HSP 4wd buggy to get around a track as fast as it can and having a great old time tinkering with it! I would look into what is making all that noise from your car, Noise is friction and friction is the enemy of speed.
Idk about that. He took a lot of material out of that chassis and transmission. Mine is under 1500 grams with an lcg shorty pack. With a full size shorty pack it weighs 1588. I race mine on carpet in the winter
I’m surprised how noisy these beauties are 😮 (I have zero knowledge on competition buggies) Motor? Transmission? Love your work on your prototype that’s very cool Big salut 🫡 mate
Awesome content. I’m ready for the Gorgon project!
You and me both!

If I had my old Tyco Turbo Hopper or my old Sear's RC Systems Lobo2 nobody would beat me!!!! Hahaha Oldfart RC racing....
There ment to be few probs with the b7
Seriously impressed by your bandido build so I just had to go buy myself one also 💪🏻 keep it up, great vids! Greetings from Finland!
Awesome! Thank you!
Beat juice = Marvel’s Mystery Oil
All your videos are funny as hell 😅😅😅😅
Thank you
Had to go back in your videos to see but I thought this place looked familiar.
Never been inside but drive past on my way to Polk to fish.

I prefer super softs. 17.5 has been the 2wd class for last couple seasons. Mod kinda died off
@ thanks

if u can, try to lower the ride height
I got a top 5 in the 17.5 A main at RCE in Massachusetts. I realized today I had 1.5 toe out with the way I had rpm arm mounted.
Nice!!

Why is the bandit so much louder?
Not sure. We make fun of that all the time
Ball diff will be the cure.
What ball diff dp you have in it?
It’s a traxxas diff. I’ll have look for the part number. I believe I found it in eBay.
You kept up with the b7
you would be like a fish out of water at my track. because it's loose as ever being a outdoor track in fl
All Out RC, by any chance?
@@VestedUTuber newberry and callahan are the only 2 i have been to race at right now. but do have new red hobby close by also
I love loose. We have a track here also.
Your gear mesh sounds like it's destroying the pinion and spur.
It’s just that loud. Mine is that loud too and the mesh is fine
Yes. Mesh is fine. For some unknown reason these bandits are just loud.
The weight of the car is killing you. The B7 is much more nimble (and much lighter!). Time for a carbon chassis.
You could also cut the wings off and Swiss cheese the middle some. I did that with a drag racing setup, and it did pretty good.

It’s not the car
🤷♂️

Thank you.the bandits are definitely noisy
