All the growth! All the investment opportunities! All of the middle and lower income people being pushed out of their neighborhoods and priced out of the city! All the homeless people! Greenville can’t house the people who are already here. The last thing needed is another apartment block asking more in rent than the life-long residents can afford. “Yeahthatgreenville

On top of the greedy agents causing bidding wars its obvious they are working together to drive up the costs of buying homes. They show You a home You can afford then tell You to make an offer then there buddy brings in someone else and You're the bait. Then You complain about it and they start showing You garbage that is 15k less than what You can afford expecting You to over pay and settle. The lining they're pockets. Its a racket all the agents are doing in this area. Cant be proven but it is recurring all day long. Pure dirtbag agents. This place is so corrupt and just preying on sellers and buyers.

I hope your son is doing well. My buddy had a very similar experience. For anyone thinking of moving to Greenville, DO IT. It really is a great place. I do miss living in the Midwest BUT Greenville is a great area and tons of nice people.

I live 45 minutes away and visit Greenville quite frequently and I agree with this informative video!!! 👍🏾 Greenville, SC is a great city with a lot of charm!!! I enjoy watching the growth and development of this beautiful city which I usually refer to as a mini Charlotte! 😀

You mention infrastructure issues, how widespread is high-speed internet there? We are considering the area and I am a remote worker who works from home.

I just got back from Greenville. Toured Greenville, Simpsonville, Fountain Inn, Woodruff looking at houses and new construction. Spent 9 days there. The congestion & traffic is horrendous. The roads are crap. You’ll wreck your car there just from driving it, or you’ll wreck it getting into an accident (which I saw almost every day there). The houses are certainly not worth the money they are asking. There is a new construction going up on every open space. I would advise everyone to stay away don’t even waste your time & money looking around (like I did)

Is now the wrong time to buy in a suburb around Greenville given the high home prices and spiked interest rates?

"The city government is working to fix the poor infrastructure."
Are they? The roads here make very little sense and there are stretches where it literally takes 10-15 minutes to travel a quarter mile.
That, combined with the selfish and entitled driving that I don't see anywhere else in the union, is the worst thing about Greenville and it's not close.
Weather is great. Real estate is cheaper than most places. People refuse, however, to abandon the "we've always done it this way" attitude.

Is the housing market "loss" really a loss or simply a correction from the inflated prices of the last couple years when interest rates were low?

Hello, nice video! I'm applying for a job in Greenville, if it works, what would be the areas to avoid living with a familiy in Greenville area (including the nearby small towns)? Thank you!
