So: yes the actor is also the vocalist Eddie Berg, that was real fire (and he almost burnt himself), This is a sort of initiation/purification trip.

My interpretation of this video is that he had to go through some trials to (I don't know for whatever reason), but he failed the last one where he looked into that open room with the bright light, so he had to repeat it all over again until deemed worthy.
PS: My fav thing about Imminence videos has got be seeing everyone else headbanging and then the camera just slow pans to Eddie doing his elegant violin stuff. 😅
