And no slouch on guitar. He and Hamish were such a great team, trading bass and guitar, and also their tremendous tag-teaming on vocals. The band in this video is excellent. But I still miss the original lineup with Robbie.
If I can’t have Hamish with them, this is the best version of AWB w/o all the original band members together. Sounds very authentic like the 70’s soulful groove you grew to love! Love Eliot! 😊
Yea, and if you hear his stuff with AWB, he’s got one helluva voice. Daryl only used him for harmony. His voice is unbelievable. I think he’s underutilized on LFDH. But I still love the show.
I was on tour with AWB in 1991 in the UK. Elliot was on that tour. I only just found out a couple of months ago he was in Daryl's band. Saw Them in Miami with Tears for Fears a few years ago and didn't know Elliot was on stage. Crazy!
I would rather hear Eliot Lewis than the guy currently touring with AWB from Tower of Power. He absolutely has no rhythm or soul. Guess Eliot is touring with Daryl Hall. 😊
AWB has the talent to hold your attention and want to hear them again & again. Their white album with AWB embossed across the cover ~~ about 1971 was fabulous and was instrumental in making an Australian band to stand up and take notice to recognize that Australia has very good talent in the Rock and Jazz arena. This concert is terrific! Thank you for sharing it with us.
The definition of funk soul! Great stuff! Old school at it's best!
Alan Gorre: One of the most underrated bass players ever.

Alan also has a great, soulful singing voice. Onnie's a wonderful guitarist! Been appreciating these guys since 1974...
Loved when Eliot was playing up front back in the day with AWB he added so much!
there is only one front man though for awb and that is hamish
I remember this band in my high school years 1976 yep!

What a treat! I had no idea this record existed! AWB forever!
Tight as a drum..... the wonderful AWB.
it's hard to believe that's Eliot Lewis from Live at Daryl's House on the white bass and keyboards!

Russ Ogrin I love watching live at Daryls house, he should go on tour with the band line-ups .

The best drummer for AWB !!
Nice!!!
Fabulous!
Enjoying watching Eliot Lewis perform here with AWB, a pleasure to see him up front and center, unlike today with his present band.
