    I watch the “Just Alex” RUclips that you recommended but like this particular playlist the best. Alex is certainly entertainment but for more factual stuff this is hard to beat.

    Really helpful series. Thank you. What do you do if your bees are delivered in one of the correx boxes? Can you cut a hole and leave for a few hours? Is this long enough?

    Great advice, I'm planning on restarting beekeeping next year. I wonder the best way of introducing a nuc into a 14X12 abelo brood box where the frames from the nuc are smaller. cant see how to avoid the wild comb under the frame

    • @BlackMountainHoney
      @BlackMountainHoney  2 года назад +1

      You can buy extenders to transform national frames into 14 x 12

    I transferred my first nuc yesterday and gave them 1:1 sugar syrup, I went and check the feeder this morning and it’s now empty. The bees are bringing in pollen and it’s sunny. Do I refill the feeder? I don’t want to open them up again just to check if they are drawing out the comb but I also don’t want to leave the feeder empty if they need it? What do I do? 😂

    Help. Just received my nucs yesterday. Waiting for fair weather to transfer them into the hives, but I just saw that birds are swooping down and eating my bees. This is not a problem I anticipated. What do I do?

  • @paternostus1

    Quick question. Get my Nuc next week, when I transfer to the hive (after 3+ days) how often, and for how long do you recommend I give them the 1:1 feed?

    I transferred 2 nucs into 2 hives with 2:1 syrup 2days ago is this going to be a problem should I dilute the feeders?

    Sir, use squashed fruit (commonly available in u r area) here v do so squashed fruits are better than simple sugar syrup☺☺

      Fruit juices can cause really bad dysentery. Not recommended
