Two months later, finally pulled the trigger. Haunted me like a ghost. Had a sample, here and there I sprizzed it, but hesitated. But it developed nicely on my skin and yeah, since yesterday, it's my precious. Thanks again for introducing this fragrance to us. It's unique and maybe not for everyone but I adore it. 🥳🥳😘😘
Great video as per usual. Bergamot is so often forgotten about cuz it’s in nearly every fragrance m, but it’s such a beautiful material when the quality is there and it’s done well.
Dacob, you asked what other Hermes colognes we like/recommend: I think Eau de Pamplemousse Rose is gorgeous. On my skin, there’s a spiciness in the (listed) notes of grapefruit, orange and rose, that to use your word, “elevates” this fragrance to swoon-worthy!
I did sample this a few times at a Hermes boutique and it did grew close to the skin quickly, but admittedly it was always in less than ideal testing conditions. But I love the opening of it and I wouldn't mind buying a bottle and refresh spray throughout the day. I also feel these range of colognes (Except Citron Noir) tend to be more perceptible to my noses the more I give them a proper wearing. My personal favourite are both Eau de Neroli Dore and Eau de Narcisse Bleu. I need to persuade the Hermes stores to bring them in. They brought in a tester bottle but it doesn't seem like they plan to sell them here :(
@@essence-tiallydacob9611 Yes I went through multiple body washes. I think I may have own a travel spray once. The SA in both Vancouver, Canada (where I used to stay) and Malaysia (currently) have long since told me it wasn't gonna be brought in. A few of them even told me it was discontinued.
I like the rhubarb, and orange colognes. But never enough to buy them. I will have to try this. The only perfume I bought on description alone without ever smelling it was an Hermes perfume. Jardin de sur le nil. I love it and always get a lot of compliments when I wear it. People say that one doesn't last long either, but two sprays lasts fine on me. I guess I just got lucky that way.
Fantastic review as always. Love the bottle and how the perfume is set up. Went looking onto the website but it's a bit overwhelming. Do you have any additional recommendations going for a summerly, refreshing yet citrusy smell? And do they give out samples? Thanks and looking forward to the stream tonight. ❤❤❤
Hi Han, thank you 🙏🏻💖 Hermes does give out samples of this perfume if they have them in stock. All the les eaux fragrances are great for summer in my opinion and I love eau de gentiane blanche for summer too. 💖
I'm working and listening to you. What an absolutely beautiful presentation of the perfume. It's so intelligent and intellectual. Wow! Could I consult you on the right perfume for a character in a novel. Alternatively, as I listened to you speak about the times and perfume, I was reminded of the biblical heroine Esther. When she is faced with a daunting challenge, she fasts and prays. The scriptures say she deliberately does not wear perfume. So what perfume would she normally have been wearing? (hypothetically).
This one is going to be one of my next purchases! I couldn't agree more on Mme.Nagel! Hermés is blessed!

🌸🥰love how you explain the smells
Thank you Shikma 🥰🙏🏻
I'm going to have to break down and start my Hermes (fragrance) Journey. This one sounds wonderful! 🌱🌿🌱🌿🌱

off-topic I wish Hermes brought back the Rouge perfume. We need more nice vanilla.
I agree about the vanilla. Not many brands do vanilla justice in my humble opinion. 💖
Have you tried Eau d'Hermes? Thoughts?
Dacob try layer it with penhaligon' s juniper Sling...💚💜
For me this is just to weak of a scent
It lasts long enough on my skin but then again… it is a cologne after all…
Omg i though it was basilica like the church…. Me waiting to talk about angels and saints hahahahhaa anyway lol
Hahah lol. Basil… yummy
