      @@davidlancaster1974 Thanks! It’s a great board. I’m still trying to get the most out of it. I’ve got to get back to trying to use its main feature. 😀 Vocal synthesis.

      @@GospelMusic4Life Yes, the vocal synthesis seems like a lot of fun! I have the 500 but there are so many functions I still haven’t explored even on that model.

    I had the go keys piano 5 and I can say that the Casio Ct s 500 is so much better you can save your tones on the Ct s 500 even though Go keys sound might be a little better than. Casio is missing some functions than the Go keys 5 Its good for the stage than The Roland Go keys to me thanks good video brother.

      @@Shades289 I’ve got to look at the specs a little more on the Go Keys 5. Some of the functions I see it has are things I like. Vocal harmony, can load new sounds and rhythms, usb audio I believe. Would have been nice to see knobs. I run my iPad 9 into the audio in on my Casio when playing out but I plan to test the iPad direct into a PA speaker connected to the Casio at some point. The audio in jack does not seem to have the clarity as iPad going into my Juno although it still sounds ok in the Casio. I wonder if the Roland can run iPad sound apps through the audio input so that I do not have to use the 3.5mm jack.

      The Keyed action is good but you can't save none of your modifications at all Casio Cts 500 is real especially probably with loop machines

    I'm thinking of getting the S500 as a personal keyboard, I'm a beginner.
    Would you recommend it?
    Thank you for taking the time for making this educational video. God bless you.

      @@gabrielrsd182 Yes. Depending on what your goals are as a musician but it is a good start. The Roland go keys 5 may be a good option also but I have not had a chance to see it in person. I love performing different styles of music and having a lot of sounds so the S500 is a good board that would allow me to do that. I also like playing piano with more range so I have another 88 keyboard for that. The action on the CT S line keyboards seem better than the actions on some of the other Casios I have played and owned. Also having the assignable knobs are a great benefit. What’s your goal as a musician long term? When I first started I wanted to play jazz and gospel with a mix of classical. 😀

      @@GospelMusic4Life I'm a 37 years old auxiliar pastor working as worship leader in a small church. My goal is learn and be able to jump into the keyboard and praise the lord. My budget is limited, but I believe I can afford a CT-S500. If i get real good and God allows me I would be looking to get a 88 keys Yamaha CK that will also be the Church's main piano.

      @@gabrielrsd182 Cool let me know how I can help. What type of songs do you perform? Depending on your church the Casio can do a lot of the work for you as a full band by saving registrations.

      @@gaston6340 Yeah a number of the electric pianos when mixed with other sounds are pretty good. The pianos are ok but have to be tweaked or layered for a certain type of sound.

    What volume do you use for the upper 2?

    • @GospelMusic4Life
      @GospelMusic4Life  Месяц назад +1

      @@mauriciopereira5677 I assigned all 3 knobs for volume for now. Knob 1 is upper 1 volume. Knob 2 is upper 2 volume. Knob 3 is lower volume. I usually adjust it based on how much of the sound I want to hear. Sometimes I turn down knobs 1 and 2 and have the bass in lower louder. The bass guitars don’t always have the volume I want so I compensate that way and turn the main volume up after adjusting those. I also currently have my upper 1 and 2 as buttons so I can change the sound on upper 1 on the fly. Usually upper 2 is 3/4 the way up or more. Sorry for getting back to you so late.
