some thoughts on the offseason series
while bobby's had the most exciting wins, I was glad to see benny win, he had something magical going winning all those games no matter who he drafted
seeing captain america play first base was incredible, he looks nonchalant like a pro and I'd love to know if he's playing ball for real
I can't tell whose swing I liked more; ankit or superman. both looked like they could go yard every time they came up
speaking of which, fernando can fucking mash, easily the best player and most fun to watch
It felt really nice to see bobby get better at hitting and seeing that good liner in the top of the sixth
I love that geoff wore that same hoodie in every episode I think (I have the same one)
from what I can tell in these vids, latos is only interested in pitcher safety and food. respect.
I'm super happy the comments gradually stopped trying to mack on ciara because she's a helluva softball player and a fun teammate, I hope she does well

costco is fast but he takes such small strides it looks like he's trying to make as many footprints as possible
all in all, this was a super fun thing for me to look forward to twice a week and I can't wait for the rest of them

Well I was looking forward to this game and you guys didn't disappoint. Some really good plays and climatic moments. I must say however when Red man scored the go ahead run he left second before the ball was hit. Normally in lob ball the runner cannot leave the bag until the ball is hit. Should there be a protest? Will the game have to be replayed? Tune in tomorrow for update. Awesome season everyone!
+stargazer7426 We barely have rules for these things -- we just go with the flow and have fun. We often act as if it's the most important thing in the world, but that's just because that makes it more fun.

You are not allowed to block a runner unless you have the ball. Javi in the last play was stopping him from going home, so that would mean that he would advance and it would be 7-8 not an out. nice play by superman for tricking him to think the ball was in the outfield when he had the ball. Either way an amazing game bobby. thanks for making this a series.
I think the pick order being based on the regular season record was a great idea.

Very good final game. I liked your self imposed penalty of having Benny have the 1st 6 picks since he was up 6 games. Very fair method of choosing teams. Otherwise, I would've been rooting for Benny because of the sense of justice. How you did it here, I actually wound up rooting for you Bobby since you had the underdog team. Bottom line: you guys had a great tense exciting final game.
FOr the regular season you should pick your team for the whole season and then you can trade players if you want

As we explained, this game's supposed to be unfair -- that's what makes it fair after Benny won so many more games in the season. If it was a normal picking for this game, then it would be like all those other games were meaningless.
