I watch the highlights, and the vast majority of the time, when they're visiting, the crowd is doing that with his every score, even the very routine layups. He had like three nasty shots in this game, including two teardrop hits. I think the deal is, even with the routine stuff, is that he usually has to make some move most other players can't get away with, even if the final shot is easy. They're not just impressed with the shot going in, but what he does to make it easy, and, of course, if it's a miracle shot.

Also, I feel that you're being critical of Luka's game. What makes you think he gets away with stuff others don't? I haven't heard about his opponents complaining about that. Right now the nba has so many guys with insane offensive ceilings. All 4 of the other guys on the floor have their lives made so much easier just from one guy that can take on an enormous offensive load. Jokic, Luka, Hali, Steph, Embiid, LeBron sometimes, Dame sometimes, Mitchell sometimes.

@@666marchisio Firstly, MVP takes into account the entire season, not just the start. Secondly, Jokic averaged 26.5/12.3/8.5 in October and 29.7/13.4/9.4 in November. How in the world is that a slow start? Let me know when Dillion Brooks averages half of that in a month.
