If you can demonstrate that English is your native language and that you studied in English language then you're good to go.

Please, ever since i applied for the FAO scholarship i have not heard nor received any mail or information about it. At this point I'm a kind of worried 😟 is it that I'm not among the selected candidates or they are yet to select or contact their selected candidates?

Sorry to say this but I think you are not among the top candidates. Because they already sent interview invitations to around 20 candidates and held at 4th of June. Fortunately, I am one of them. Still waiting for the final results though.
