I just bought the N Line tonight in the black. I traded in my 2023 Mazda3 turbo AWD premium addition which i bought about 5 months ago.
Night and day difference. This car is so much better to drive. Reminded me of my 2019 Veloster N performance package that i traded in for the Mazda3. I regretted that.
You must have lost a truckload of cash...
Absolutely 💯 love !!! Such a great refresh
Amazing review bro.
i saw one of these last night and they look so cool
Excellent review and nice upgrades for 2024!!!
Yes, both are very nice!
Interior looks great. The rear looks really good with the new taillight design. Front looks good but a little on the busy side.
What I wish the sonata had were vents in the rear passenger area.
Just got this over the weekend in the red with black interior; really pleased with my decision. Couldn't agree more with your review that for a base model and all the options that it includes, it's a no brainer. At this point in my life, I don't care anymore for sunroofs, bigger wheels, etc. which cost additional thousands. Value is the name of the game in my book and Hyundai has nailed that down completely. Plus, love the fact that it appears way fancier than both inside and out than what you pay for.
Great video as always! I had a 2018 Limited. Loved the car but after 6 months had to sell due to seat comfort. The leather seat bottom was extremely flat and uncomfortable, like sitting on a wooden bench. Awesome car, but until they improve seat comfort I just can't consider a Sonata.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video I like the shift by wire on the steering column makes more storage space in the console and the 2025 chevy equinox will be doing the same
The front end looks like the Toyota Crown. Nice car and great review as usual!
Toyota was caught manipulating quality tests for 34 years. This is truly an incredible Toyota.
Through rain, sleet and snow. That is by definition dedication.
Nice car too. Looks like they ran out of time on the grill though. That or the EV look is the new black.
Insane vehicle dude.
Big Facts 💯💯
I just purchased the SEL w/ the Convenience pkg in Serenity White. The car is truly beautiful in person--mine looks like a Storm Trooper. with the white and black color scheme. The LCD screens on the dash are super crisp and hi-res, almost 3D.
Really appreciate the 60fps.
What trim comes with ventilated or cooled seats? You forgot to mention it.
I'm liking the look of the car! From the side with the little windows in back reminds me of precious year.
Love white interior, good mileage, I'd give it a test drive👍
Previous?
😎 COOL VIDEO 😎 KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK 👍😎
Appreciate it!
My mother bought one last night, SEL.
Cool! how is she liking it? i’m considering one too
Can we get the SEL AWD + Convenience?? It does not that have combo on the website when i go to build one...??
@goldpony What USB-C brand would you recommend using for an android?
Sucks the N-Line doesn't have AWD. But it's very nice.
It blows my mind how many complete re designs there has been
Has anyone figured out how to turn off the speed warning bell permanently? If you turn it off manually it turns back on every time you start the car.
I haven't seen any American market trim levels with rear vents for AC and heat.
What's the deal with the Limited? Why is no one talking about it? I want a hybrid and Hyundai seems to be dragging their feet to release it. Have you heard anything????
When you say the seats are not comfortable, do you mean they lack some features in terms of adjustability or are they indeed too firm/not supportive/ short cushion?
A bit stiff and not enough lumbar support. The benchmark is Lexus F Sport seats 👍🏻
Your comments about the 2024 Sonata are right on, be careful about the incoming automated updates for now, seems that Hyundai is having a problem with software for the time, that is by Blue Link. I received an update around the 15th of April and lost navigation from view, car wants to run at the navigation speed, no faster, of course that would not be so bad if the posted speed and actual car speed were accurate. I was in a 55mph area and doing 44 and could not speed up above the set speed the car wanted me to do. Until the update car ran great, this is my 5th hybrid, first major software problem ever, loved the handling and performance along many trouble free miles, hope to get her back soon, but I will not let my car do another update again this year for sure.
Im so glad they didnt ruin this with a CVT
Just a few weeks prior to revealing the refresh, Hyundai admitted that capacitive panels are bad and they promised to implement real buttons. Uhh, placing a capacitive panel between the climate knobs whereas the previous version had physical buttons there is a sign that Hyundai is not fulfilling that promise.
Anyone curious the 2.5 has his/moo so carbon buildup isn’t a worry
I don’t think the N Line has vents for the rear seats…
Which 2024 Sonata has the heads up display ?
The Limited. That’s the only one.
Glad to see the catfish grill is gone.
No mention of the top dog limited trim. Why is that?
Limited is available in Hybrid only for 2024... I'll hopefully be doing that Hybrid Sonata review at some point when they start to arrive! 🙂
There is a hybrid SEL too @@goldpony
GJ
When tf did cars get so futuristic
Beautiful car, but living here in cold Canada, I can't believe they deleted the heated steering wheel across all the trim levels. What were they thinking?
The heated steering wheel is an option on the SEL and standard on the Limited, at least in the U.S.
@@Anthony32126 Thanks for the information. Hard to keep track of what's on which trim level.
@@danielhartin7680 I found a spreadsheet on Hyundai's website.

That transmission selector is a huge mistake
I'm really feeling this car....but scared off by all the engine issues 😪
Not the same engines with the issues .
I think the engine is fine. I have a 2020 sonata and it runs great. Only thing I need to do is change the tires.
😬
You realize these are completely different engines than the older models? I mean quite literally nothing is shared between them. Regardless Hyundai offers a 10 year/100k warranty in the states so just sell the car when the warranty is up.
i had a 2019 optima with the same engine, it ran great!
Key looks gargantuan
yea and kinda cheap feeling as well. I preferred the old Hyundai key style personally.
Toyota was caught manipulating quality tests for 34 years. This is truly an incredible Toyota.
Have they learned how to make an engine though? Too many people's engines grenading for my tastes. Hyundai hasn't had a good 4cl since the Beta II.
For what it's worth... I currently have a 2017 Santa Fe with a N/A 6cyl that I've had for 8yrs now with no issues.
Great video. Ya, those Hyundai 6 cyl engines were great. I put over 300,000 miles on my '08 Sonata 6 cyl and it was a horse. Never had ANY issues with that 6!@@goldpony
Yes, they have.
You sound just like simplyunlucky
Haha I'll have to look them up!
That car is nasty
