- Stella Grant (Haley Lu Richardson) is every bit a seventeen-year-old: she’s attached to her laptop and loves her best friends. But unlike most teenagers, she spends much of her time living in a hospital as a cystic fibrosis patient. Her life is full of routines, boundaries and self-control -- all of which is put to the test when she meets an impossibly charming fellow CF patient named Will Newman (Cole Sprouse).
There’s an instant flirtation, though restrictions dictate that they must maintain a safe distance between them. As their connection intensifies, so does the temptation to throw the rules out the window and embrace that attraction. Further complicating matters is Will’s potentially dangerous rebellion against his ongoing medical treatment. Stella gradually inspires Will to live life to the fullest, but can she ultimately save the person she loves when even a single touch is off limits?

I going to see it Saturday night and wait…T-THIS HAPPENED TO JUHEAD IN RIVERDALE BUT WITH BETTY!!!😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Yeah it did in season one. But Jughead wasn't too thrilled at first, Betty took Jughead to the movies and than back to her house for the party. The difference between Will and Jughead is, Will has more love in his life than Jughead does, Jughead sometimes feels like he's weird and he never had that father son, mother son relationship that probably Will has with his mother. I admit Will's mother is a little different and she shows her love in unusual ways sometimes but in the end she's always there, Whereas Jughead was kind of homeless he lived in a drive in movie theater until they closed it down, than he lived with Archie for awhile and now he lives with his dad in the trailer park. My point, he was moving home to home and had really no one to turn to. Whereas Will did. Will has a good life, he may have CF but he has a family with his mom. Jug didn't have a life with his dad or mom up until season 3 of Riverdale, and to be quite honest FP is still a little rough around the edges. I mean it's Riverdale, Jughead is the serpent King it's a tough world for the riverdale crew Jughead's dad could be a little nicer in the way that he could be firm but not over power Jughead around if that makes sense. Yeah it's a way different show than Five Feet Apart is of a movie it's more tense and sharp and Five Feet Apart is more sweeter but I think FP could ease up a little on Jughead in my opinion.

Hi! Cystic Fibrosis patient here. It's not just because you're French, most people don't know this. Most people's lungs are pretty sterile, but because CF'ers lungs are full of mucus, more bacteria grows. People with CF can infect each other with these bacteria if they get too close, and if we catch certain types of bacteria we can get very sick. In the movie, Will has a bacteria called B. cepacia, and if Stella catches it, she won't be able to get a lung transplant. But the bacteria wouldn't infect person without CF. Also, CF is a genetic disease, so CF itself can't spread by touch. Hope that helps!
