Man, glad you tested these. I’m trying to decide between the Pxg Blk Ops & Tour Edge Exotics E723 irons, that Mygolfdpy ranked #1 game improvement irons. I just ordered the Blk OPs, can’t wait to hit them! Played with them today, they hit really far & feel very good. Very forgiving.
Bought these, fantastic irons! Feel great, fly high and straight, sit perfectly behind the ball (wider sole is not an issue at address). I already consider these the best irons I have ever owned.
Demonstrating at a lower clubhead speed makes your already excellent reviews more valuable to the average golfer. I have a low 70’s swing speed (14hcp) and although I was recommended the Gen 7 XP, with its stronger lofts, I now wonder if the black ops might be worth trying against them.
Hello, love the videos and content. I’ve played the Hogan irons until they closed. They are back and I would for you to review there new PTX TOUR Irons Thank you
Ive had the Xcore2's for a year and absolutely love them, forgiving, looks good down at the ball, launches high. I am thinking about upgrading to these. I am an 8 handicap right now, and don't have any issues playing a more forgiving iron, golf is hard enough. I can still move the ball left and right too.
Always love the content. One request though from a viewer perspective: Could you modify the club results to show height? Always curious how high these different irons, drivers, etc are launching. Unless i’m missing something i never see peak height stats anywhere. Thanks!
You kind of don’t need height stats when you have spin, launch and descent angle with distance. Really, distance and descent angle are the more important stats with stronger lofted GI irons.
Hi guys, really enjoy all of your videos. I have the 0211 dualcor irons and I love them, but I would definitely consider switching to the Black Ops irons.
This tells me that if your buying strong lofted game improvement irons at normal average player swing speed stop at 6 iron unless you naturally hit it high because the 5, and 4 will problem play the same distance. I play driver, 5, 7 wood then 5 hybrid 6-GW. The 7 wood and 5 hybrid give me height, length and stopping power.
The sole width on those, at least on camera, appear crazy. I get the idea of lowering CG to help get ball in air, which the premium brands do by adding high mass material into sole. PXG has decided to simply place a huge slab of blade thickness there. It lowers cg but also compromises turf interaction. We have speed challenged players no we facing increased turf drag with so much sold thickness, thus the low CG benefit is partially lost. Would be interesting to compare this club vs say a P790 or MP245 with a much narrower sole. Give them for Mike to swing and compare club speed, ball height, spin rate, etc. Aesthetically alone these are a hard no but if their performance is as I suspect for slower swingers, I can’t see any benefit to these. A shallow swinger will suffer so much turf drag to lose 2-3 mph in clubspeed while the steeper aoa striker may find more chunky ball strikes.
I bought a set of these and they're almost like cheating. The horrible strikes I get away with and still have good results are mind blowing. I've got a higher swing speed so the 4i full swing info was good info as I'm considering adding it as well.
Nothing says "Black Ops" like a chunky high handicap iron. This would be like Ping calling their G430 line the "Tour" line. Feels like PXG got their naming backwards.

I have the 0211 Xcor2 set as well. Nothing about these would make me spend the money to "upgrade"....
I love the look at address of the 0211's ! Had mine for almost a year now and love e'm.
@@charlesrohl7635 same, looks like a thinner iron performance like a hybrid
@@jongeephotography Would you go to the Gen7's?
Purchase these and love them. 18 handicap.

@@jman000if you didn’t need height then they wouldn’t propose your height should be around your 6 iron SP
They showed the height. It was in yards and Ian converted it to feet.
It's all there in the chart at 10:50 of the video. Wedge avg. 98, 7 iron 96, 4 iron 78.

You say 8 handicap and upwards 2:00 how does that work with higher swing speeds?
Would you class these as more of a hybrid style iron ?

Can we get a Haywood SV2 review?
Great swing
The problem with this is that when doing a fitting there wont be the 3 irons available to hit

These irons have thick soles because typically the player😊 is steep. These will not dig due to the high bounce similar to ping game improvement irons.
Yea block ops impressive and very reasonable price
You didn’t mention how they felt off the club face? Would be nice to know….
Bought these to replace my Gen4 0311’s - the feel is just as good, surprisingly.
yes they did. Watch it again.

I will get a fitting ,current irons big bertha
Never saw anything from you guys on the 0211 st blades, any thoughts on those?

760 Althea Valleys
I hope these aren't a replacement of the 0211 line.
