Tracey, the results from using these beautiful stencils and the gel press is gorgeous. Pre-ordered all 12 and a few of the really large stamps. Thank you for always showing so many awesome demonstrations. 😊❤
These are absolutely gorgeous backgrounds...and those stencils...I MUST have them in my life! Oh my gosh...I am so glad I don't have a man I have to answer for my crafty purchases! LOL
The papers and stencils are fabulous, it was very Interesting to see the different results you achieved. Looking forward to see what else you will be doing, I would love to see how your wonderful faries look against these backgrounds. Thank you for the demo.
I love the prints you’ve made! I’ve ordered 3 of your stencils and can hardly wait for them to arrive. The stencils and colours used remind me of William Morris designs.
Really, REALLY LOVE your new stencils! This was a wonderful demo. (I just don't understand how any of your videos ever get a "thumbs down" - that really upsets me)
Could you of taken an impression using paper instead of rolling/brayering paint off using stencil? Thought it might be quicker thats all. So love your videos please keep them coming.
Yes by all means, and sometimes you can get a nice print doing it that way too... there is no right or wrong way of creating any art work, entirely up to you xx
Oh my word-stunning! I’m doing something wrong-the background is pretty much just the paper showing through. How did you get that beautiful blue background if you’re removing all the paint after your third color?
lavinia766 I think Randi Young was referring to the last layer of acrylic chalk paint that you apply before you place the card stock on and lift the print. Is that what you were asking Randi Young?
Hi Georgie, Tracey advises that you work fast when using paints on the Gel Press and the last layer of paint should still be slightly wet as you are printing. I hope this helps. Noni, Lavinia Stamps. 🧚♀️
I was surprised that you removed paint from under the stencil by using a brayer. It seems like a waste of paint. I always use another sheet of paper. Tissue paper is especially good for this technique. That way you have an extra sheet that could be used in collage, or as a first layer in another print.
These are so beautiful and ethereal. The backgrounds really suit Lavinia style stamps. I love this technique so much. Thanks for sharing. 💕
Thank you very much Donna! Noni, Lavinia Stamps 🧚♀️

Buds is my fave. Look forward to these new designs.

vicki2062 I guess you get a small residue of colour that all adds to the layering and texture

Wonderful.

Hi Marguerite - Hmm... the trick is not to dab too much colour away before taking your print. Hope that helps. Emma-Jo 🧚♀️from Lavinia Stamps.
Does it matter what side is up/down with the stencil on the gel press please?
Looks great. What card did you use ?
Does it have to be chalk paint to look that good, thanks
🥰
This is Beautiful!! HUGE FAN!! Please say again what product you are using that 'lifts" the image onto the card stock. Thank you!!
Hello Randi, the name of the ink that lifts is laviniastamps.com/product/tim-holtzalcohol-lift-ink-re-inker , hope this helps x

Beautiful ‘muted’ color design. Very nice stencils. Does chalk paint add to the light design or can you use plain white acrylic paint?
Hi Janice , it will give you a different effect.. but its worth trying....x
Wauw!❤
My paint dried on the plate underneath and above the stencils. Please advise. I do live in AZ.

😆👍WooHoo👍
You were saying “ink” but I thought it was fresco paint finishes?

products are nice but the tutorials are sooooo tedious and so slow to get on with it. Must always push the products.
