- The King expressed his “sympathy and empathy” for the people of Southport when he visited the town to meet survivors of the fatal knife attack.
Charles suspended his traditional Balmoral break to hold a private meeting with some of the injured young children and their families and spent a moment looking at floral tributes left to the three victims.
CEO of Southport Pleasureland Norman Wallis joins Talk’s Jeremy Kyle to discuss this further.

If there was ever a chance for Charles to be remembered as a good king to his people this would be it to get the tyrannical government removed but I'm afraid there's more chance of finding a nun doing squats in a cucumber field!
I'll make my position as crystal clear as I can. I cannot stand Labour. I have never voted for them in my life and I doubt I ever will. I cannot stand Starmer either and I wish to God he hadn't won this election, but he did. From a Constitutional perspective - which is what Charles has absolutely no choice but to abide by - a little over 6 weeks ago the country held a General Election and Labour won in a landslide. It was a free and fair election, the people spoke, and Starmer was their choice. In what way can Charles go against that?
The Queen never did, despite the many riots, protests, upheavals and crises that occurred during her reign.
I think Starmer is a danger, you think he's a danger and perhaps tens of thousands of us do, but we don't know how many millions do not. Can you imagine if Charles tried to remove a government 6 weeks after an election because some people thought the PM was a danger? Maybe people on the left thought Boris or Rishi were dangerous and needed to go - I don't know, I've never been tempted to go near left-wing RUclips videos or newspapers to find out, but it wouldn't surprise me😉

I'm please that the King visited his people in SouthPort after the Carnage that happened thrre. The beautiful children who were brutally Murdered and thoese who were seriously Injured. That will hage to live with this for the rest of their lives. Im praying for all to make a full recovery 🙏 ✨️ 🙌. And for the family's of the little Angels 😇. To all the people protesting please keep it peaceful ✌️ .We are all angry with been allowed happen to our County. With all the Unvetted men Been allowed to enter this County Illegally. It is truly wonderful that King Charles went to Southport and had a visit with innocent people. Glad that King Charles is doing the right thing instead of blaming British citizens.

The visit meant a lot. We’ve been through a roller coaster the last three weeks .
Thank you jez for saying how beautiful my home town southport is. When i ever have gone abroad or around the UK noone really knew southport, its now so sad we are known for this terrible day. I just hope as a town we can recover and of course i hope all those directly effected can re build their shattered lives RIP 🩷
