    My sister just traded in her 2014 ES 350 for the 2017 ES 350. Plus Lexus took 4K off the price in Vegas. I guess they wanted to get the 2017 out for the 2018. Also I really like the way you do your videos. You show a lot more then other people do. GREAT JOB !!!

    I had one of these as a loaner and couldn't believe how smooth it was, the seats were also some of the most comfortable I've ever been in, it definately doesn't handle corners and curves even close to as good as the GS though. But much more comfortable in my opinion.

    • @HowToCarGuy

      Absolutely! Those seats are incredible! Even feel great on a super long trip too!

    I have a 2005 Lexus ES330. Reliable as hell, and I've never had to take to the shop other than for regular service. If I got another car, I'm likely going to keep my current car in the family, or, for a project vehicle.

    • @HowToCarGuy
      @HowToCarGuy  7 лет назад +3

      SWEET! I tell people all the time that their Lexus will probably outlast them and they will usually give them or sell them to family members. Thank you for the contribution and have a great day!

    Hi Brock, really enjoy your reviews! In fact, it is because of you I bought my pre owned 2017 Lexus ES350. My only issue with this vehicle is that I can't get the seat high enough to feel comfortable looking out over the rather high dash. I like to sit a bit higher, so I use a cushion to boost me up, which is a headache. I cannot imagine any way that the seat could go higher, but I do know that if there WAS a way, you would know it, so I have to ask! :o)

    Is there an all wheel drive option for the ES? I do not like front wheel drive. Currently in a 2015 GS 350 F Sport. 2nd one. Lease is coming up and not sure if I should get a 3rd GS. Probably will. I like the fun factor with the luxury combined.

    Thank god the wood is wood. The new Honda pilot had wood looking stickers on the armrest. I don't know why manufacturers make it so obvious the cost cutting. Might as well just use a soft grained plastic.

    • @HowToCarGuy
      @HowToCarGuy  3 года назад

      Good question. You might want to turn off your main headlights while leaving the daytime running lights on. You should see the daytime LED's on at that point. If so, I think this is what you mean by ornament lights.

    On The RX 350 , in the dash next to the 12 volt outlet and the slot for a phone . There is a little door that flips down to reveal a ??? And what does the F actually stand for , Flagship , Fast or is it just a letter used for a certain package. And thanks again for doing these videos. And say hello to McLintock for me.

    • @khoaphan8490
      @khoaphan8490 7 лет назад +1

      the F stands for Fuji which refers to the Fuji track in Japan where they test all the Lexuses (Lexi?)

    WHAT'S BETTER ES350 OR IS200T?????

    • @HowToCarGuy
      @HowToCarGuy  6 лет назад +2

      Great question! That really depends on what kind of driver you are and what kind of driving you will be doing. If you will have multiple passengers and need leg room - ES350. Not many people riding with you and you like to carve the roads occasionally? IS200t. I have had both vehicles - I currently drive a 2016 IS200t FSport and I LOVE it. But, I may be going back to an ES350 soon simply because I need a little more room. Thanks for the question!

    I love the way he's going on with all these nifty cool "intelligent" features that I already have on my 2015 Hyundai Sonata--for half the price. Oh, and I have electronic parking brake, (real) panoramic sunroof (whole roof is glass) and "Auto Hold," which maintains the car in one spot when I take my foot off the brake so that I don't roll when parked on steep hills. Heated REAR seats too.

      lol for sure sonata have alot of features it would be funny if i compare it with the camry or altima..i bet 2017 sonata (base model) have more features than a fully loaded camry xD .. I bought one last week i like everything about it except the engine sound sometimes specially in a cold day

    • @2isadventures
      @2isadventures 7 лет назад +3

      John Grabowski Your Hyundai Sonata is not the only car that has those features. Lexus also provides many features. Plus, your Sonata does not compete with this car. This not the Ultra Luxury, so it does not have all the features. The panoramic sunroof is available. The build and luxurious interior is way put together than your Sonata, so stop acting like your Sonata is better than a Lexus, or any other car. Your comparing a High-end Luxury brand to a Non-luxury brand sir, so of course your getting more for a cheaper price.

    • @georgesantos-jt6me
      @georgesantos-jt6me 7 лет назад +5

      sonata hahaha is that a car yet

    • @jgrab1
      @jgrab1 7 лет назад

      +D.J. Wheaton There are features the Sonata has that even the top ES doesn't. I went to a Lexus dealer before I bought the Sonata and asked. That's how I know. And Lexus' "panoramic" roof is just two regular sunroofs, one front, one back, both manually operated, not a true glass roof, like on the Porsche Targa, which I have. Lexus ES doesn't have auto collision braking, power sunroof cover, power folding mirrors, paddle shifters, autostop, side sunshades, HUD or heated rear seats. That's a fact. So how is it "better put together"? I have leather (seats more more comfy too; ES seats have no bolstering) I have the same materials on the dash and door (I checked), same material in center stack. Don't have real wood but don't really care. If $500 in real wood is a reason for you paying $10K more, go for it.
