Honestly, when this stuff was happening in the manga, there were some really yikes takes from people. People saying that Touya didn't have it so bad because Endeavor never abused him. Like, news flash, neglect is a form of abuse. Not just neglect, emotional trauma. It felt like people were trying to shift all of the blame away from Endeavor and onto the victim, Touya. Because there are so many ways Endeavor could've handled this differently. First, you should never try to live out your failures in life through your children. Side note, Endeavor seeking out Rei to create a powerful weapon is so yikes. It's not an act of love. It's an act of seeking power. Moving on though, once he found out Touya's quirk harmed his body when he went overboard, there are several things he could've done. A. Tell Touya that he'll love him regardless on if he can surpass All Might and that he loves him for who he is as a person and not his quirk B. Tell him that he can still be a great hero, just not the Number 1. And that he's fine with it because Touya tried his best C. Tell Touya that he can still be the Number One hero but only if he finds a way to stop or minimize the damage done to himself(like how the Nurse at UA told Izuku to find less self-destructive ways to use his power) D. Actually talk to Touya and stop expecting the problem to just go away, especially since he created it If all of that fails and he still decides to have more children, there's always one final option(hypothetical if Endeavor had treated Touya somewhat better) E. Stop training Shoto and Touya separately. Some heroes become partners to cover each other's weaknesses. He could show them both love and have Shoto cool off Touya when he begins to overheat and have Touya go for more powerful fire blasts that Shoto can't do. Raise them as sibling heroes But he didn't do that. He instead ignored most of his family. When he wasn't ignoring them, he was harshly training Shoto or yelling or hitting Rei. Touya saw that he was born and tossed aside for his father's ambition. He revealed that he'd been watching his family after he burned up too. And he likely saw that Endeavor didn't change even after his "death". Endeavor got worse. He was replaced in life. And his death didn't change anything. He probably questioned why he was born at all. Until there was nothing inside him but emptiness and hatred. This was the wrong way to put out a fire. And that's how Dabi was born.
Oh my god that last part you wrote about training Shoto & Toya together just blew my mind..my third eye opened ong.. Could you imagine what the Todoroki family *could’ve* been had Endeavor actually taken the time to work on his children instead of trying to live through them & use them as a means to an end. I can see it, Toya would most likely have the opportunity to continue training as he was passionate about being the best, Shoto would most likely repress the fire side of himself in hopes of becoming a better “support” for his older brother which would honestly allow for an even deeper in depth character arc. Taking away from parental family ties but still knocking the whole “trying to be the best version of yourself no matter what” out of park! Shoto was always closer with his mom regardless so him growing up to be mainly an ice-user wouldn’t be too altered from our current timeline. Anyways I’m just envisioning what it would be like had Endeavor been a good father to his children, I’d assume he’d have a small elite force of capable fire/ice quirk users similar to the Incredibles family dynamic~
@@Crona_Gowther_Kanato that wouldn't have worked, since Touya's problem was BURNING not overheating, and besides Shouto can only do so much to cool off someone else (eg he was doing as much as he could for Endeavor in the last fight) ....also Touya tried to kill Shouto when he was a newborn it'd be pretty dumb to put them together until Touya's issues were 100% completely resolved
People probably were saying Toya didn't have it so bad because a lot of parents in real life raise their kids in a similar way and their kids turn out fine. Not saying it isn't wrong but it's common in most parts of the world.
As an Endeavor stan, youre doing to much to make up excuses for him. Endeavor knows he messed up. He himself was so driven to be the number one that since he knew he could not beat All Might he wanted to manufacture a child that would be able to. That was HIS own idea. He messed up by prioritizing his goal over his kids feelings and did not know how to be a father, just how to be a strong hero. thats what he meant when he said to Rei you watch him, because i only know the path of a hero and he cant be one with his condition. What you can applaud endeavor for is him understanding that what he did was wrong af. You're gonna love what he does moving forward though. dont worry
I usually just laugh it off since its just an anime reaction, but this is the first time Rob has actually outright annoyed me on one of these. That level of stubborness has got to irritating to deal with on a constant basis.
Now that i think about it, toya would’ve been the perfect hero to assist people in cold climates. He can tolerate the weather since he has cold tolerance and his flames could help warm survivors. He had potential
Most people probably assumed that but it’s never actually stated that’s the case until this episode; at least as far as I’m aware. It can also be just as easily assumed that the abuse was more verbal then physical you know with him being a “hero” and all.
@@emanculesseason 2 we see a shoto flashback where Endeavour punched him so hard he vomitted even though he was 5 and she tries to stop him, the camera turns away from her and you hear the sound of a smack, her voice, and then her falling to the ground. There is an anime for EVERYONE! With so many genres Shounen, shojo, psychological, mystery, seinen, sports, fantasy, adventure, slice of life, ecchi and more it’s great and it’s considered mainstream even in western media now. With this anime we learn about the drive and motivation to accomplish your dreams despite the odds. Learning to ever give up and to help others. Learning to rely on your friends for help. I mean it’s a really inspiring story and although around early season 4 the story does get a bit dark But I’m well equipped to deal with heavier topics. Also it contains a colorful cast of characters with different superhero powers and a variety of personalities in a school setting. I learned about team work, sacrifice, brotherhood (literally) philosophy and the art of war The finale of that is forever imprinted in my brain Everyone who Ed helped in some way was all right there helping him fight Father a.k.a GOD After the military men unloaded the gun fire and the smoke clears it shows Mustang who has lost his sight along with Miss Hawkeye who got her neck slashed and Louis Armstrong READY! That wasn't the first time Enji/Endeavor hit Rei, and also remember his training of Shoto was brutal (See previous seasons for flashbacks showing them both getting smacked around)!! Enji and Toya drove Rei insane, and drove each other insane as well. Enji was completely mentally unstable; and Rei was fragile mentally back then (and Toya was becoming both). Rei was scared of both of them and understandably so. Enji, back then, was A MONSTER, and abusive as heck (mentally, physically in Rei and Shoto's case, and emotionally). And Toya was slowing was getting just as obsessive over his father as Enji was over Toshinori (All Might). And, like Rei said, Shoto round up being (one of) the biggest victim of all of this mess.

A. Tell Touya that he'll love him regardless on if he can surpass All Might and that he loves him for who he is as a person and not his quirk
B. Tell him that he can still be a great hero, just not the Number 1. And that he's fine with it because Touya tried his best
C. Tell Touya that he can still be the Number One hero but only if he finds a way to stop or minimize the damage done to himself(like how the Nurse at UA told Izuku to find less self-destructive ways to use his power)
D. Actually talk to Touya and stop expecting the problem to just go away, especially since he created it
If all of that fails and he still decides to have more children, there's always one final option(hypothetical if Endeavor had treated Touya somewhat better)
E. Stop training Shoto and Touya separately. Some heroes become partners to cover each other's weaknesses. He could show them both love and have Shoto cool off Touya when he begins to overheat and have Touya go for more powerful fire blasts that Shoto can't do. Raise them as sibling heroes
But he didn't do that.
@@Crona_Gowther_Kanato that wouldn't have worked, since Touya's problem was BURNING not overheating, and besides Shouto can only do so much to cool off someone else (eg he was doing as much as he could for Endeavor in the last fight)
....also Touya tried to kill Shouto when he was a newborn it'd be pretty dumb to put them together until Touya's issues were 100% completely resolved
You're gonna love what he does moving forward though. dont worry
keeping up with the todorokis is some of the best arcs
I usually just laugh it off since its just an anime reaction, but this is the first time Rob has actually outright annoyed me on one of these. That level of stubborness has got to irritating to deal with on a constant basis.
Now that i think about it, toya would’ve been the perfect hero to assist people in cold climates. He can tolerate the weather since he has cold tolerance and his flames could help warm survivors. He had potential
This is the best reaction in a long time 😂😂😂😂😂 rob took an L in this one
Dabi is like tai lung in kunfu panda, shifu trained tai lung to be the dragon warrior, and all tai lung wanted was to make him proud. 😮💨
32:50 LMAOOO THE SILENCE
Glad yall understood Dabi backstory unlike some clowns
Endeavor really was on demon time😂 he wylin over All Might
All Might got him feeling some type of way 😂
That man couldn’t get All Might out his head, prolly dreamt of him, woke up and thought about him, this man was obsessed
How does Pat go this far not knowing Endeavor was physically abusive
Pat is slow in the head, don't mind him.
Just think of him of a horny monkey
Most people probably assumed that but it’s never actually stated that’s the case until this episode; at least as far as I’m aware. It can also be just as easily assumed that the abuse was more verbal then physical you know with him being a “hero” and all.
@@emanculesseason 2 we see a shoto flashback where Endeavour punched him so hard he vomitted even though he was 5 and she tries to stop him, the camera turns away from her and you hear the sound of a smack, her voice, and then her falling to the ground.
It's pretty clear from early on. Even if he pushed instead of full on hitting her that's still abusive
@@magortom Surprised Pat forgot about that lmao.
rob showing his colors. he right no one else can be. dont pick on him only he can pick on other people. not sure how his brain works but it seems slow.
Now it makes sense why Rob was being a salty asshole to Evan during the Last of us episode, they must have filmed this first.
i just skimmed through this backstory in the manga so I didn't really understand it but I feel like the anime just made it better
Yuki Hayashi is a genius man his music enhances every scene like damn 🔥
He honestly doesn't get nearly enough praise
The War Aftermath, the Crumbling of Hero Society, continues with a Background Check of Hawks, a update on the Status Quo and some more added context to the Tragedy of the Todoroki Family,
Next, it seems like we’re getting some info on Deku, look forward to it, hehehe.
She didn't really agree to the marriage she just knew that not agreeing with ruin her family.
Yk these guys from the islands when they make an Elephant man referrence 🤣. Btw that break gave rob crack head energy he aint looking sleepy anymore. Great reaction you guys.
Not gonna lie, I usually think rob can be kinda extra, but something about him today had me DYING from laughter 🤣
Future Trunks and Vegeta had a great father son arc in DBZ.
Lil bro in the middle can´t be 2 seconds without talking
Rob you gonna cry like baby endeavor 😂😂
34:40 dabi gave his mom a reality check lmfao
Rob was mad quiet when Endeavor hit his wife ☠
chill rob. when deku cry you say he are cry baby but when endeavor or shoto cry you say everybody have feeling. some fanatic fan
23:23 wellz is right, people categorized MHA as a children anime bc of the looks of the first and second seasons. It happened many times that people told me that they don’t look MHA bc for them the antagonist are not that threatening… yeah for them people like Overhaul, Shigaraki or Dabi aren’t interesting or threatening 💀
It comes off as simple, but it has layers to it that it takes advantage of it later which makes it pretty consistent and has great peaks because of it especially the meaning and symbolism that reinforces it, Shigaraki's backstory really showcases it
@@tehcookievanilla1323 yeah exactly but generally people will said shit like « what’s villainous things the vilain of this shit did? Nothing bc they are fighting children » and I would open my all for one war criminals book record for them🤣
@@jeanmariek2851
To be fair also the villains are barely older than the students like Toga, Dabi, Shigaraki, Spinner and ect
@@tehcookievanilla1323 exactly they are also « apprentice » so it’s normal that they struggle, that’s one of the strength of this manga, we follow the rise of each camp and have the version of everyone not just a single person
When I have kids I want to get them into video games and anime once they reach a certain age
Maybe like 7 regardless of the gender. For video games my father introduced them to me and once I played my first jrpg
Final Fantasy 8
I was awe struck
Rpgs/jrpgs
A story driven game is phenomenal
Because it envokes so many different emotions and can teach you life lessons and such.
There is an anime for EVERYONE! With so many genres
Shounen, shojo, psychological, mystery, seinen, sports, fantasy, adventure, slice of life, ecchi and more it’s great and it’s considered mainstream even in western media now. With this anime we learn about the drive and motivation to accomplish your dreams despite the odds. Learning to ever give up and to help others. Learning to rely on your friends for help. I mean it’s a really inspiring story and although around early season 4 the story does get a bit dark
But I’m well equipped to deal with heavier topics. Also it contains a colorful cast of characters with different superhero powers and a variety of personalities in a school setting. Wether they end up liking anime or not
From my childhood being introduced to video games has had a massive impact on how I am. Persona 4, Persona 5, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Final Fantasy 7,8,10, Shadow Hearts 3, Star Ocean The End Of Time, Grandia 2, The Legend Of The Dragoon, Kingdom Hearts 1,2,3
The ENTIRE trails of cold steel arc (all 5 games) FF7R, Parasite Eve 1…yeah
I got into anime by watching my sister watch it
I started with Zach Bell (lmao if anyone remembers that) Avatar
RAVE MASTER!
and finally my first whammy
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
I was so fascinated I binge watched it on my phone. I learned about team work, sacrifice, brotherhood (literally) philosophy and the art of war
The finale of that is forever imprinted in my brain
Everyone who Ed helped in some way was all right there helping him fight Father a.k.a GOD
After the military men unloaded the gun fire and the smoke clears it shows Mustang who has lost his sight along with Miss Hawkeye who got her neck slashed and Louis Armstrong READY! Ughhh it was one of the best final fights
12:20 Either he's pretending or he doesn't know they're making fun of him, not Endevour. But still shouldn't ruin the moment like that from either side. T_T
I was starting to get worried this wouldn’t show up lol. Great reaction gentlemen!
Finally. Thought they stopped reacting to mha.
They were on trip so a lot of shows on hold until they could record. Only up loading pre-recorded content.
@@raec5426Oh I see thanks.
2:54 Ultra willpower man a WHOLE VIBE😂😂😂
this is what we were waiting for years
remember in s2 we found out his mum threw the water on todoroki... due to him reminding her too much of the Endevour... also I believe we already knew back in like 2017 that he used force against his wife
Rob made up a story about Endeavor's parents kkkkkkkkk damn, pathetic
Other heroes have support gear if he trained dabi and made him an ice suit or something maybe he could've been a hero🤔
Nah Rob just needa hold this L
LMFAOOOO
Did Evan just A + A is A square💀
Rob such a hypocrite lol
I’m not sure she accepted, it’s more that she was sold to him. In this type of arrangement the woman doesn’t really have that much say which is why the parents get the money for it, not her.
They literally say, she could have refused.
Everytime Rob speaks, I mute the video. His stubbornness it's too much to deal with.
First of all why is niggas acting like they didn’t tell you how shoto got his scar a thousand times 😂😂 seasons way before this one second why are they acting like they didn’t know endeavor was beating his wife that was shown thousands of times also
Toya and Shoto could've been the ultimate heroes if shoto supported toya with his ice to prevent toya's body from falling apart
About dabi crying bl00d traumatized people irl can cry like that it’s cause of like a shattered mind also the fact that he burned his tear ducts shut
If you guys can relate to dabi saying he always was told to become a No.1 hero what do you think about deku???
He too wanted to be like All might ever since he saw him, granted there was no one forcing his back but literally he was bullied by everyone else for being powerless
Therefore just because of deku's existence I can't digest Dabi's excuses
@Nada anaum ismail Well even not just looking at Deku, an easier comparison is Shoto himself having Endeavor as his father too. Toya deserved better as a kid, but obviously doesn't justify Dabi having to become a villain. Though I can understand why he did.
@@raec5426 yup both shoto and deku never get credited much from the Fandom for facing such "mundane" things but other characters get more love and are called better. Even if it's mundane, it's hard to face these situations if your conscience and moral values are battling it and if that string is cut ✂️ well we can see many examples in MHA itself and it's more prominent in real world albeit a little less visual but definitely there just hidden
23:33 personally rob, i got gon and ging, especially when it comes to complexity
Rob stay d riding todoroki and endeavor keep that same energy with deku admit ya wrong damn hypocrite
Its about damn time. They just held off like an entire month on uploading this shit
Since All Might wasn’t around when Endeavor was a kid, even if his parents were bad, Endeavor wouldn’t have had an upbringing that caused him to want to have his children beat All Might.
Ugh. I’m struggling to find the words to convey what I’m trying to say.
11:36 fuck youuuuu roooooob
Hahahaha
28:50
actually A+A= 2A
Naw, the episode just dropped, yall need to get on it !! Lol
23:31 *cough cough Kratos & Atreus*
Didn't realize you guys were this behind
Endeavour is the best MHA character by far.
I need y’all to catch up on the reactions!!!
How would Spider-Man(Marvel Comics) and his rogues gallery of villains fare in the My Hero Academia universe?
dabi is tai lung from kung fu panda
Wellz is so real
Not to spoil what happens from the manga but there fight was crazy asf. Can't wait to see it on da old telly
Since endeavor never went to the mountain to watch him train he didn't know his flames turned blue so he couldn't have known dabi was his son...sad
I’m just tryna figure out what took so long 💀
Probably cuz of too many shows
They were on trip so a lot of anime shows on hold until they could record. Only up loading pre-recorded content.
