I had wondered about that as well. It ran pretty well for me. The days I've shot with it have been pretty sunny, and I haven't had any issues with brightness. Pretty impressed with it so far.
got mine today. Mounted on the new Sig P365 Fuse. due to the way it mounts it's too tall to use the Fuse higher sights, but I never worry with co witness anyway. So far so good. I'm trying out the manual/automatic brightness. Will take it to the range monday.
@@hardcore4476 I have an EPS Carry as well. Love them both. I will say that the EPS carry reticle is more crisp than the MPO but i'm not super picky. When im training I hardly notice a difference between the two. I'd have no problem taking an MPO over the EPS carry to save a few bucks.
Basically the window housing is large enough on the closed red dot that there is no room for screws so it has to be side mounted. With the open one, the normal screw location is still open.

Optics ready shield plus is closer to $450. Even then, based on feeling them both, the Masada has the better overall feel, better trigger, and shoots more smoothly. At least, in my opinion. Plus, the masada comes optic ready at a cheaper price. I'm a glock guy, but IWI made a gem here.
Masada s was much more comfortable shooting then shield plus. The Masada s did break a striker (iwi sent me a new striker) after minimal use. Ended up keeping my shield and sold the Masada s

Shorter, wider window than the EPS Carry and smaller all around (5mm) than the Romeo X-Compact Enclosed.

after a quick look - this also comes on and RMR footprint as a full size optic - hmm may need to give this a go!
Put one on my Tisas and it works great. Wish the auto shutoff was a couple minutes like the SIG Romer1PRO instead of an hour.

it comes with a mounting plate that fits the rmsc footprint. Mount the plate to the slide, then mount the optic (which is side mounted) to the plate.

I'll stick with Holosun.
Holosun is a solid choice. I like that it's still a direct mount vs the side mount.
Battery life sucks... everything else is good
The battery that comes with it is not great. I'll agree with that. If you replace it with a good energizer or Duracell, you'll be good to go.
