    Wow, I have been watching network videos explaining previous versions of Ubuntu. Version 24-04 uses a different configuration file! Thanks for the update and the clear explanation. (I ass-u-me d that the files would be the same --- rats!)

    I followed your instructions to configure static for IPv4 and IPv6. However, when I check, I only receive the IPv4 gateway but not the IPv6. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

      how did you check the routing? to see ipv6 routes you need to run "ip -6 route" command.

      ​@@RealClearComputing I tried configuring it in a different way and succeeded. It requires something like:
      - to: "::/0"
      via: "IPv6gateway"
      for IPv6."

    Do you know how to configure multiple nics with an ip segment per nic for instance nic 1 - 192.168.1.109 and nic 2 - 192.168.3.109 in netplan config file?
