@@chriswirth9484 I'm 66 now and I'm STILL watching this video once in a while. Damn. All I can say is check out "Hazel English Shaking" video. About the only thing since this that has similarly knocked me off my feet, (the tune more than the somewhat goofy video).
Shoutout to the dude who just wanted to read his book and somehow managed to do so while the whole school was getting totalled. I wish I had that kind of concentration.
I've always wondered what happens if you ride a flaming motorcycle at speed. Does the wind stoke the fire or help put it out? This did not answer that question, good video and song none the less.
I produced this and co-directed a few scenes and I will say that it was finding a balance where the stunt man could not ride too fast or flames would diminish and the shot wouldn't last long enough but too slow a speed it looked fake.
i wish i was there to be in this music video, they look like they had way too much fun im jealous lol, great great great song im really diggin it! :) ...deserves at least a million views too
The NP's usually have interesting videos. More to this visually interesting and arresting video than "teenage violence." Solid AC song--bouncy driving pop(y). The musical talents in NP's is excellent. Great synths and the vocals--Newman is simply a great arranger.
This video brings back memories of the 1979 movie Over the Edge. That was a crazy movie about teenage rebellion and they literally destroyed the entire school.

Canciones como "This is the world of the teatre", "High ticket atractions" o "Clok wise" son caballos ganadores, que por momentos te pueden recordar a lo mejor de The Cars. Ecos noventeros para hablar del medio ambiente, la felicidad no alcanzada o como lo cotidiano puede llegar a abrumar. Música independiente novedades.
That's how it is at Yorkville. Lots of twenty-somethings --- don't judge, they were held back --- performing questionable chemistry experiments. Sometimes they get out of hand - they were held back for a reason. It's a high ticket attraction in Canada. What can I say?
A song about the world's current day dire geopolitical situation...a civilization hellbent on self destruction over seemingly petty differences among "factions", even after achieving such technological greatness and progress towards egalitarianism collectively. The stereotypical elevation of violence seen between factions within a high school over such initially petty slights is a great metaphor for all of this visually. They even have the guy, who amongst all the chaos and destruction, is doing his best to preserve the knowledge of civilization by not getting distracted by and entangled with the pandamonium around him.
like the song. I admit to pausing, rewinding the video to see that they threw a history of photography book. I feel better about myself now! Feels for the one guy trying to learn lol.
Remember in the 80s when that new sound sounded new? This feels like that. Missed these people!
Search Bohemian like you by dandy warhols to hear the same song but better.
I just saw that video and I definitely see a connection. Both songs are awesome though.
that's what I thought when I heard it on SiriusXMU. not sure i am getting the video but haven't tried to hard but song is great.
Same
Only so many awesome chord progressions.
I'm 62 and I swear this is the only thing that has made me want to go back to high school.

Back when school was worth your time
Such a beautifully subtle and powerful use of Neko and Kathryn's voices. So looking forward to seeing them in Denver this summer!
Definitely putting this one on the Coronavirus playlist
The like-to-view ratio is ridiculous, wtf… you’d think this song would get much more praise, it’s awesome!
Shoutout to the dude who just wanted to read his book and somehow managed to do so while the whole school was getting totalled. I wish I had that kind of concentration.
He only helped demolish it after it was on fire. That was the point. You were not paying attention.
Bahaha same I love him in this!
I love the synthesizers. Great song!
Anarchy in the high school and a flaming motorcyclist! Count me in! Can't wait for the full album to drop!
This must've been so much fun to film. Awesome!

Just saw 'em do this last night in Cincinnati. So so good--and the guitar break bends my brain beautifully!
Love this song right away . Never get tired of listening to it.
Just loved it! Couldn't help but smiling while I was watching it. The slow motion scenes just made it better.

Daaammnnn who was shorty duel wielding the twin blades thooo?!??
very good!!
I heard this song on Sirius XMU. I'm surprised Alt Nation hasn't touched it yet.
Kool!
This sounds like a Devo song with female singers doing backup. Amazing song.
This is not proper protocol for chem lab.

When all shit hits the fan, pretend it didn't. I've been doing that my whole life.
Hmm, yes, indubitably.
NERD ALERT
a-half-million-views-a-year- worth music video considering what a great band that was in mid 00s
Shaxan, & Before, After, NOW & FUTURE🌀
So damn infectious.
Jengirl92, YES!
this is like the music video for an old fall out boy song but the music of a summer road trip
Oh heck this is groovy
Delightful!
Good song...has a real 80's feel to it. If you replaced the guitar and base with a Moog synth I'd swear this was from the 80's.
Don't know why, but i'm feeling some modernized Human League influence.
Synths But HL didn't have a Kathryn The Great!
ohh
Why this video is not available for me?
You might need a proxy server.
"This video is not available."
You're killing me here!
See you in Oakland
Some Len vibes
This song reminds me of some of the music that came out of the mid 90s-early 2000s
Especially Dandy Warhols "Bohemian Like You" from 2000.
It's a metaphor, folks. Go read Newman's interview.
metaphor or not- we live in a time of kids eating tide pods, snorting condoms; its like we are all doomed.... oh wait... yeah... continue
Coywolf006 he posted that two years ago lol
"Good morning, will Dan Bejar please report to the principal's office immediately" -- HAHAHAHA!!
"This thing could go two ways, won't be another exit for days."

watching this video is so fucking cathartic
Great song, and band. Tone deaf video. WTF were they thinking on this one?

the whole truth and nothing but the truth
This video went from school students messing around to an all out raging apocalypse
I think everyone has felt like doing this in high school at some point.
Miguel Zayne No. Not really. Why would anyone want to destroy their school like that? Most people feel great pride in their school.
Tavares, take a pill
Fucking fantastic
Great song. I hear a little bit of Barenaked Ladies - Alcohol in this, anyone else?
Bohemian Like You?
That was the class for demolition 101.
Similar sound as Bohemian Like You (Dandy Warhols). This one is better though :-)
