    15 minute tasks is how I get it all done. I select the tasks on planning day and then execute daily. How do you keep your house under control? If you say you don't, maybe working with 15 minute tasks each day can help. When you are done here, check out this video for More 15 Minute Tasks: ruclips.net/video/zqtR-xT7-YQ/видео.html or check out this one: ruclips.net/video/j4zmrUDXzpI/видео.html where I give the rationale for 15 minute tasks.

      I keep my house under control by doing a little bit each day to keep down on a big job. I do laundry mainly on Sunday and mid week as needed. I also try to enforce putting things back in its proper place after use. Instead of laying scissors on the counter or table, if you put items away when you're done it helps with upkeep of the home and makes it easy to locate items when you need them without going on a scavenger hunt.

    Miss Denise, I am a new subscriber. I’m so happy that I’ve found you! Your grace has inspired me so very much. I also wish to thank you for offering such lovely aprons on your online apron boutique. I recently ordered and received a Christmas apron, and it is delightful. The quality is excellent, too. May I also say, as a retired school teacher, that you have beautiful penmanship? Sending many blessings to you and your family, Michelle ❤️🎄

    You are so inspiring! I usually have to tell my husband to take the kids to grandmas and I'm still not done with my marathon by the time they're back 😂

      Marathons are just too exhausting. Try planning four 15 minute tasks a week; one each day for M, W, T, R or if you work outside the home, plan to do them in an hour on Saturday. Stay on top of your daily cleaning routines and one load of laundry each day will help you stay on top of things. If you have several children, you might need to do two loads of laundry a day but definitely, do some each day.

    What purpose does he lemon water serve for the microwave? I love your content- Thanks for sharing

    • @homemakingwithdenise
      @homemakingwithdenise  Год назад +1

      It’s just a natural cleaning agent. The lemon water heats up to put a steam bath inside the microwave and makes it easy to just wipe the grit and grime away. Also, the lemon provides a fresh scent.

      @@homemakingwithdenise Thank you for your response. Since I posted my question I happened to try the lemon and water and the food came up easy and my microwave looks brand new. Thanks for a tip I'll be using going forward and can't wait to share with others. I appreciate you very much ❤️

    Hello Denise and all do you have advice for people who have challenges with executive function issues due to ADHD or planner for home management?

    • @homemakingwithdenise
      @homemakingwithdenise  Год назад +4

      Hi NIcole Marie, I'm not sure what you mean by executive function. Or do you mean executing? Or do you mean making decisions? Im not sure but here's what I do: particularly if you are challenged with easy distraction, using a planner each day will prove useful. Then, set your priority for the day...whatever your top three priorities might be and get those things done first. First after you engage in your daily routine. Having a daily routine makes things easier because you don't have to think about them. You just do. For example, my daily routine is get up, do yoga, unload dishwasher, throw in a load of laundry, daily swish and swipe in bathrooms, and then whatever zone work I have to do, and of course my weekly tasks. Today is Tuesday so it's my free day and I only need do my daily routines. Tomorrow, Wednesday, I'll do my weekly chore which is to plan for next week after I've got my zone work done. One planner that was developed by a woman with ADHD because of her distractibility and her brain function is Kimmy at She's in Her Apron. Her planner has just about everything in it that you could use. You might check it out but really, any planner will work if yiu use it.
