Those are very nice! Especially the Frank Betrame one. I've always had a soft spot for swing gaurd knives, auto or not. I just think they have a little extra cool factor to them. Thanks for sharing these with us!
@@acpfullsends5190 now be advised, they will be shipping from Austria, but I've bought quite a few from them and they've never let me down. Also, I've never had a problem from Customs when they arrive here in the US.
Beautiful set of knives. Definitely on the higher end of the stiletto realm there. The latama is built like a tank. I started out buying a beltram with stag scales and its still one of my favorite knives in my collection. Cheers brother. You got good taste in blades.
I have about 40 Frank Beltrame knives in my collection. I've got 13 swinguards, 7 otf, 10 regular side openers and 10 various others like bottle openers and such. I love the swinguards the most.
You know a design is iconic when it hasn’t hardly changed throughout decades. The Italian stiletto is what people automatically associate the very term ‘switchblade’ with
Very nice craftsmanship that goes into those beautiful switchblade knives ,it's a shame they have a restriction on carrying them because of the push button.
Very nice video! I own a 9" Latama abalone and an A.G.A. Campolin Zero carbon fiber. Think I might get a Frank Beltrame in the very near future. Love that flat grind.
Carter, another great video. I look forward to each and every one of them. Where do you acquire your blades? Brick and mortor? Online? A video on your buying process and decision-making would be awesome I think.
@Dorin Kish I figured that was the case.....i ordered one two days ago. Can't wait to get it in, sweet blade and built like a tank!! thanks for the info Dorin!!!
Pro Tip: You may like the "click" of closing your blade, however... you are unwittingly causing undo wear on your release pin. Always push the button in when closing the blade. Thank me later.
Beautiful knives. I've never held one of these, so I had a question - is the bayonet tip sharp on both sides? If it is, will it cut you if you have it in your pocket?
Nice looking looks sturdier then mine Chinese 10dolars worth stiletto:)But how about the blade sharpness. I know this knives where made for stabbing but it does have some cutting edge. Are they any sharp to cut piece of paper?
I really want to buy a true Italian auto, I’m going back and forth on what brand to go with. Out of these, what is the best quality? Which one will last the longest?
Direct knife sales.com has the one you're looking for I just checked. the one with firework abalone they are out of but they have the other one in abalone
hey man where do you order these from. im having a hard time finding a place that will ship me one to Ontario, Even if you had one you would sell that would be fantastic and greatly apreiciated. let me know if you want to talk through email or something. I don't think you can send pms with youtube anymore.
mate, I like a slightly beefy handle on a knife, yet I've recently fallen in love with the stiletto style auto knives. what's a nice cheap knife with a slightly beefier handle generally around $30?
I have a 11 inch rosewood frank b swinguard, and the "wings" fell of, because the pin on the blade fell out, and it wont hold them in, do you know where I can get a replacement pin?

I freakin love these knife I have onw just like this
Beautiful knives. I've never held one of these, so I had a question - is the bayonet tip sharp on both sides? If it is, will it cut you if you have it in your pocket?
No its not sharp on the "backside" in fact a stiletto is not really supposed to have a sharp edge at all. Its made fore stabbing not cutting.
Where did u get those from ???
www.pvk.com
Where can I corner one
I like the 164 Bone handle 1
What states are these legal in? I want to pick one up
oregon and florida
The Federal Switchblade Act of 1958 makes these illegal on the Federal level.
@@scottdunn2178 Legal carry in Oklahoma.
Legal in Arizona.

I'm a huge fan of these. I'm having a swinguard manufactured, and it will be cheaper than dealing with the Italian knife brands.
