Man i don't know why this channel as only twentysomething thousand viewers. You are by far the best SF6 creators when it comes to guides. Thank you once again.
Thank you . This should be helpful. Now I know it wasn't just me. 😅 I could not beat bison in neutral no matter what I tried. I think you have the best tutorials of any youtuber.
13:38 dive kicks (and akuma's OD air fb) are also hilariously good at blowing up Bison's c. HP. They won't beat it out, but they will mess up the timing causing you to get a Punish Counter when Bison goes too early and whiffs the C. HP. Since they'll land as PC, you get a combo that's strong enough to get into Bison's head that "hey I can't survive doing that again", making them want to either: A) Just block / PP B) Jump forward with the TC as AA. Neither option is great for Bison. Blocking surrenders momentum and drive gauge. PP risks empty jump throw, and if you are a grappler this is a command grab PC for buckets of damage. Jump forward is fine but requires reading the jump pretty early and, if you have an air throw, your air throw will generally be able to defeat the TC attempt but this is a read. Also if you are Gief, the air command grab is buckets of damage.
I am actually at the opinion that it's useful to sometimes wake up in place after Bison throws you, especially if you think he is trying to bait your reversals. If bison tries to bait with DR whiff jab he is at minus 5 point blank and you can jab punish him
I love that bison counterplay is 50% “I hope I guess right because he has advantage” and “I have to let him play all his drive gauge and hopefully he doesn’t open me up”
I find bison fairly easy to deal with for the most part but theres just a couple of things that make it tough sometimes. Obvious one is if he gets a combo into mine and just destroys you lol but this video was very helpful for ideas to deal with that. The other thing is devil reverse. Unfortunately the tip in this video gets blown up by stomp, i know its never gonna be one way to beat every option, but i will always hate dealing with this move lol I found that using air to airs against it early can be really good though, especially air throws, since his hurtbox seems to get really big (like you can grab even if youre nowhere near him). I definitely recommend using safe meaty jabs, he cant use any supers and has no reversal, so he has to perfect parry. Then hes already losing to throw loops and wasting drive gauge so i try to plan the whole oki game around that. Cant think of much else tbh, you covered everything else really well as usual i appreciate your hard work translating this for us mate!
It’s been awhile but iirc correctly I covered most of those points in my original anti bison video about 6 months ago. Mago covered some things I didn’t so I wanted to share. Thx for the comment!
Good to know on miscreen default recovery (no buttons), then delay throw to be safe. And back recovery (two buttons) after a throw. Walk back as an option after. Solid tip on jab (ready for CH to MP) after DR>b HK in corner. Safest options sounds great for random connections. 🙂 And AA D.Reverse- in my case, HP. Walk forward for crossup attempt- I'll remember that. Listing the points here for potential reference. Thanks!
Never had a problem bison dont get me wrong ive lost to bison but hes such a straight foward character either going to grab or heavy kick just gotta guess right
Always appreciate the translations. Tons of great content locked behind a language barrier.
Thanks! I’ll keep an eye out for more
@@Chris_F wouldn't mind one for JP

Thanks, coach! Great vid as always and I look forward to trying some of this out during my next Bison match.
Reply in a few days/weeks and let me know if it helped!
@@Chris_F Will do!
Please do this for all characters
maaaaaan,i just picked up bison and FINALLY felt comfortable bringing him online. And now you hand everybody the keys to the castle lol
You can just flip the ideas around and learn what people will try to counter your options with and use that to make better choices as a bison player!
This is truly great content!
Thank you!
Amazing content. Thank you Chris!
Appreciate it!
This is a good little corner of the market you've got hey😎Not that there's no one else doing it but it must be far less than regular content
Trying my best to use my skills for good haha

@Chris_F ah OK man I will go back and check that out, pretty sure I watched it before but maybe I missed it, thanks 👍
Brother I just started to main bison 😭
Them having an answer doesn't mean you don't. They parry- drive rush grab. He's showing bisons counterplay as well
As someone else mentioned, you can use the tips here to get a better understanding of the character and counter the counters

@@Chris_F You're welcome. Great, hope to play again soon.
Listen, I hit master this season. Just to learn that I don’t know shit. Thank you for these tips.
The game changes once you hit master, there is a ton to learn from here!
keep up the good work ~
Very helpful tips. Today I wake up threw my opponent bison twice and won the set, that Bison was probably fuming 🤣
Glad it's helping, good job on the win!
I left my wife and kids
Thank you soo much bro
👍👍👍👍👍
Against Bison and Ken, you just want to take the throw and PP obvious aggression. I play Bison and I PP Ken all the time too.
