You can just tell Zachary Levi loves playing chuck . His acting is still on point for chuck and it’s been years ❤️
I was literally about to say the exact same thing. You can take the Zachary out of Chuck but you can't take the Chuck out of Zachary lol
It's because Zachary himself said that he didn't really have to act as Chuck, he was basically just playing himself, considering that is how he'd react in the situations Chuck found himself in.
These guys haven't played the characters since 2012 and they stepped back into character as if no time has passed.
I feel they did a better job on this read than the original episode (just watched both to compare). They were all locked-on in character, whether it was Brandon being super serious, Awesome being awesome, etc. They were all into it. Yvonne even got teary eyed during the Chuck/Morgan reveal scene.
I bet it helped that they knew what was going on for their characters, instead of the continual threat of cancellation they had with the 13 episode increments.
If they did a new season/movie now, I think it would be even better than the series.
Too be fair theres basically no difference between Zach and Chuck, and Adam and Casey lol

I feel like it could be possible but at the same time, at least why it probably hasn’t happened, is that Zach Levi was a very busy man after Chuck in terms of filming. So probably for a while it wasn’t possible. Who knows though, maybe now, Levi and the others would possibly have time to film some type of movie or something

The great thing about Chuck is that every character: main cast, villains, minor role players, guest stars etc were great to watch and comical in their own way. I miss them so much

Funnily enough, he was the most in-character during this read. He didn't break character except for a few held-back laughs.

I've thought a lot about this since 2012 and I think they missed their window. 2016 would've been ideal since that's when everything was coming back. They still have the chemistry, but I don't know if everyone could get together again.
They should definitely do a movie for closure.
As long as it serves as an override for Season 5.
@@ourcorrectopinions6824 I loved season 5. It was a bit short, but I think the ending was excellent. Even the Morgan intersect arc was good. I watched it when I was a kid and didn't like it but now, revisiting it, I appreciate it in a new light. The ending was beautiful. It's also obvious Sarah got her memories back, it was heavily foreshadowed with the idea of kissing her popping up multiple times throughout the episode. I think it was an excellent finale to an excellent show. Whether or not they add a sixth season or a movie I will forever love the show, and I'm happy with the ending.
If they dont do a movie after this amazing performance like wow
Just finished watching the series for the 4th (5th?) time in my life. This movie needs to happen because the ending kills me every time!
I hated the ending the first time but now I kinda like it . Her memories are coming back , Sarah over the course of the last episode is coming back to Chuck. She starts off the last mission by saying that she is leaving forever after it’s over and then it is a beautiful scene at the end where she says good bye but she does not really want to go. And where does she go? , straight to their beach .
I've started watching this show as the virus hit. This shows made into my top 3 TV shows series of all time (the other two are the Office and that 70s' show). Thank you so much RUclips for suggesting me this video. It is so good to seem them.. Thank you everybody who made this show possible. Truly the best.

a friend recommended it way back in high school, it had just gotten to netflix. i feel in love with it, partially because its soundtrack was full of jams i had already liked, and they played one of my favorite songs in the literal first episode (A Comet Appears by The Shins, when Sarah is talking to Chuck on the beach)

I love this show because even the supporting characters were showcased as more than one dimensional and still had depth. I think the actors all getting to showcase their talents really made it a blast the chemistry between the entire crew was really off the charts.

This show was special man. Even though everyone is working on there own projects and things now, Zach is still fighting to this day for a movie. It shows that man put his heart and soul into this. Even if we don't get it, this show was/still is a gem.

Zach to it hard that the show was over
In these hard-hitting times, we all need a “warm and fuzzy” moment. THIS did it for me. At 70, you’d think CHUCK would not be a fit for me. I think the Chuck series (yup have them all) is the best show ever created. Totally all-in. Has all the emotions. Now this presentation brings back all the endearing feelings. GREAT!!!
I love how actors can just morph into their roles instantly. Always amazed me. Even zach still talks in a higher octave as chuck
This was FANTASTIC!!! The chemistry of the cast is 100% as magical as it always was- my husband and I were laughing the whole time! So great!! One of our most favorite shows of all time. We’re currently watching Chuck with our kids during the quarantine, and they are loving it as much as we do. Thank you so much for such an amazing show!! It teaches some of the greatest lessons on what it means to have a strong and healthy relationship. Awesome. Chuck vs The Movie, y’all!!!! Chuck vs The Movie. I've been a big Superman fan my whole life and I'll be the first to tell you, Superman Returns sucked. It was complete and utter garbage aside from one thing. Brandon Ruth. He was the right choice for the S. When he got this role I was thrilled that he had gotten a second chance.

As someone who finally got into this show recently and absolutely fell in love with it, I am really happy to see that despite being so late to the party, the community is still so alive and passionate.
One of the best shows I've ever seen and one of the coolest fanbases out there. I hope the wholesome passion of the cast, showrunners, and fans can still spur on a movie or mini series/micro season that gives everyone a real finality and resolution.
One of the best under rated shows ever. So great to see them all together. Always thought Yvonne and Levi had such chemistry. Great writing all around. I like this episode but more Sarah and chuck romance is key. We need a chuck vs the movie.

Chuck was the second show I watched with her in it..
Both times she played a very similar person and was a delite to watch..
I have completed the series so many times, I can clearly see the whole scenes playing just listening to this table read.

Today I finished the last episode of season 5 and really wished that it should never end. I literally felt that I have started living in Burbank. :) For the last 2-3 months, all the characters became part of my life and when it ended I felt a bit emotional. Thank you for the wonderful entertainment. I really wish if you could start working on the next 5 seasons.

She never had an american accent. She just slips up on occasion, as anyone acting outside their own accent would. She did so in some episodes as well.
she is been doing other projects and other accents so not much time to be back in character :P

We just started rewatching the show. Actually saw this episode like two days ago. It's amazing how easily they fall back into their characters. I love it!
I didnt realize how little involvement Sarah Lancaster had in this episode :( This was a ton of fun to watch though. I really miss the show and wish there was more dialogue between actors in this, it seemed to end way to abruptly.

Exactly my thoughts. :( But at least it was something fun to pass the time!
The plus to this episode though is it has one of the best scenes with Big Mike working with the crew, some great moments from Jeff and Lester (including Lester singing), and it's honestly one of the best Chuck and Morgan episodes in the whole show. I get what you're saying though, so I'd love to see them do an episode like 3x12 (I think) which has one of my favorite Ellie moments where she tells Chuck he didn't go far enough to win Sarah back.
@Jenny S I'd also love to see Chuck vs the Santa Claus. I love the Sarah moment in it when everyone else including Casey are calling their loved ones and she's just walking around alone, and the followup conversation with Chuck is so touching.

Season 6 is definitely needed. Each actor is phenomenally unique , for example Yvonne strahovski is perfect for the role of Sarah Walker ,Zachary levi for Chuck , Adam Baldwin for John Casey and all others . Every episode has its own twist and turns ,with Chuck sometimes being happy ,sometimes sad with Sarah,the famous Casey grunt .
The thing that hits me the most is that Sarah loses her memory of Chuck I know it will slowly return back but what happens after that is what everyone wants to know
Chuck is a series that is exceptionally different from different comedies till date .
It's a show we're every actor is important and does a great job, no replacment characters..

Just finished rewatching the whole series and convincing my husband to watch it too. He LOVES it as well. And it actually holds up pretty freakn well considering it is over 10 years old. Still bitter about how it ended - GIVE US A MOVIE PLEASE!!!!

It's crazy to me that it has now been 10 years since I started watching Chuck. At the time I was in middle school having a terrible depression spout and was always angry and hated everything. Than a buddy recommended me Chuck and it helped me massively, get thru that part of my life. for the last 10 years every year I'll watch a run thru of Chuck and remember how it made me feel back than and it's still a show that means so much to me. The only show that's ever came close to matching Chucks energy for me is Lucifer. But Chuck is an unrivaled TV Show in my book.
We as FANS will Do Anything for a Network or Streaming Service to get a Season 6 or a Cpl of Chuck Movies ! What do we have to Support or who's Attention we Need to get , Damn IT Let's Get Done !

First off, this was amazing. Fantastic! Second, the best moment was when my oldest daughter said "Why does he sound like Flynn?" and when I responded with "Because he is Flynn." And her face... priceless.
