I live on the orbits of London where there is no tube but GTR does run a 24/7 train service (even if it is not known as the world's most reliable). Some buses also run 24/7. This is something one takes for granted and makes the area more attractive to live in.

Of course it's busy! I always thought it was really weird that such a big city doesn't have regular 24 hour train service. People go out, people catch flights, people work until all hours...
There are some 24/7 bus and train services operating in and around London but it's impossible for the Underground because it's a two-track system which needs to close for maintenance at some time.
Tokyo has (I think) the biggest train network in the world and is yet to have a night service which is really annoying as taxis are about as expensive as London taxis. Every night I venture out from my home area, I have to keep checking my watch for the last train, which is always packed and seems a prime time for people to jump in front of them!

You should do this when there is a major event from evening to about 1 or 2 am and see if they uses the night tube and rate how busy and if it is busier than lunch hour
Saturday is DEFINITELY the bigger night out for most people. Friday night, they want to rest from the week. Saturday night...they let 'er rip.
When I went on the Night tube around 2am (14th October 2017) on the Piccadilly line from cockfosters to Heathrow T5 The carriage was empty up untill Finsbury park
This is a very interesting video. Thank you
2:40 sheesh the guy was very fast woah
It all goes to prove what a 24 hour society we’ve become, I’m glad I live in a rural area as I couldn’t stand it being so busy here, Good luck with all that London rather there than here.
I live on the orbits of London where there is no tube but GTR does run a 24/7 train service (even if it is not known as the world's most reliable). Some buses also run 24/7. This is something one takes for granted and makes the area more attractive to live in.
Next try the knight bus... Oh wait. Nevermind.
I can tell you what I use the night tube for. I'm a musician and often do gigs all over the country that involve getting a lift back to London with the band late at night any time between 2am and 5am. I then use the night tube to get home.
I was expecting that in a city like London the tubes are going 24/7 with at least one train every hour at night
You should use the ‘carage busyness’ system on vids like this
William the butchers son productions you should use the 'correct spelling' system on your comments.
@@lawrencemartin8102 No, in this instance Williamtbsp is correct to use the word 'busyness' - it does not mean the same as 'business' and neither is it pronounced the same.
Is it faster to get off the Piccadilly at Finsbury Park and get on the Victoria Line at King's Cross, then change back to the Piccadilly line using the secret tunnel?
Challenge ? all the night tube stations
London: The City that Never Sleeps.
Hannah Miyamoto well done for sharing that insight with us! The vast majority of cities are the same.
@@JulieWallis1963 Yeah like all of them haha. Bit of a pointless phrase all told.
**mad new york noises**
Canary Wharf is my favorite on both Jubilee and DLR lines, maybe on the whole Underground.
Victoria Northbound: Brixton-Kings Cross St. Pancras
Piccadilly Northbound: Kings Cross St. Pancras-Finsbury Park
Piccadilly Southbound: Finsbury Park-Holborn
Central Westbound: Holborn-Bond Street
Jubilee Southbound: Bond Street-Stratford
Jubilee Northbound: Stratford-Waterloo
Northern: Waterloo-Euston
Victoria: Euston-Victoria
Nice Cuneo tribute at 33 seconds! :-)
Can't believe I'm sat watching this tbh
Tokyo has (I think) the biggest train network in the world and is yet to have a night service which is really annoying as taxis are about as expensive as London taxis. Every night I venture out from my home area, I have to keep checking my watch for the last train, which is always packed and seems a prime time for people to jump in front of them!
Near Farringdon tube station is a club called fabric, maybe there you can meet some people catching the night tube.
More people than Vienna at night
geoff: explaining the tube stuff
the rat at 0:31: ima end this mans whole career
geoff mate you've gotta get on a night tube carriage back from a rave
Working in events, the night tube is a necessity, I was working in stratford on a Friday and Saturday ending at half one and had to get back to ealing, without night tube I wouldn’t have been able to work those shifts
I always use the night bus and tube but according to security I can't tell you ,it's a secret:)
It should be on all lines!
I've ridden as the solo passenger in zone 1 during off peak hours of the day. Be interesting to know when the quietest day/time is. Possibly line dependant?
the victoria rolling stock does sound like the wmata 5000 series trains
Good job using proper tube line colours in the subtitles.
I know right? I didn't even notice until scanning the timeline for a certain part. Absolutely love it!
