This is the Verifone v200c countertop credit card terminal.
I’m gonna show you basic functionality like how to run a sale, a refund, void and how to settle the terminal.
I’ll give you the system password and I’ll even show you how to set manager level permissions so that a password is needed for certain functions.
Unboxing
QUICK FEATURES
First off, this Verifone terminal is programmed with the First Data Fiserv Omaha payment processor and it is also compatible with other processors. .
It’s PCI compliant and meets all current PCI standards as well as being equipped with end-to-end encryption and tokenization to protect cardholder data.
It’s primarily meant for retail environments but can also be used in a card not present situation by simply entering the credit card number using the keypad.
So if you need to take phone orders, you can do it with this machine.
It accepts all forms of payment method inputs including:
EMV, Magstripe, and NFC technology including use with Mobile Wallets on smartphone payment apps.
It has a color screen and a sleek design with a small footprint on your countertop.
It has a thermal printer like other all in one credit card terminals and uses 55ft rolls.
Here’s a quick view of the data sheet, and this is linked in the description for you to download free of charge.

We upgraded from a V520 to the v200c. On the old one we just had to hit the Sale button and then enter the $$ amount and put the card in. This newer one we now have to push the down button, hit the enter button and then $$ amount and then the card. Is there a way to program it so after a sale it automatically goes straight to sale again? We had faster checkouts with the 520, and this v200c has an extra step. I also fear my employees will hit the down button too much and do a return instead of a sale. Any thoughts on this?

Can we use this pos for offline payment's
Can I accept gas cards with this
Do you like this more than the ingenico desk 3500? Can it work with cardpointe?
It's a really nice terminal. I just deployed one to my client recently and it's very fast and easy to use.
I don't think it's better/worse than the desk 3500 necessarily. The v200c is a non-cardpointe solution.
@@Bancardsales I deployed a Desk 3500 to a restaurant-it accepts Apple Pay but it will not allow tip editing on those transactions. Does the V200c allow tip edit on Apple Pay?
Is there a way to print yesterdays eod on v200c?
@@michelleclark305 you can do it online through your provider

Assuming it doesn't do cash discount
@yellowcardlive - are you referring to a "cash discount" program that operates like a surcharge? Because you can implement a true cash discount at your business by just offering a discount if someone pays you with actual cash. (just discount the product by 3%). The new cash discount programs need to have special software and you also have to be set up with a processor that is able to offer a compliant cash discount program. If you want to discuss the differences or would like a free consult you can go here: www.bancardsales.com/call/brian
How I use the money that was transferred to this machine??
Money goes straight to your bank account.
Thanks for watching
The up arrow key doesn't bring the menu
You might have a slightly different program then. What are you trying to accomplish?
