You have far more patience than I would doing all that walking and getting called back in minutes, lol. My Fisher took a dive several years ago, haven't replaced it. Once I get a new detector, I'll see if I can still access my honey hole a huge turn of the century Park that's mostly wood and field and if I can I'll invite you guys. Spent 2 years out there, newest coin found was a 1920 D standing Liberty, dozens of every type of Barber, several walking Liberty, at least a hundred Indian head and buffalo each, hundreds of tokens. I know there's tons more.
