Metal detecting in north central Illinois. My son and I have been detecting together for over 15 years. We use both Garrett and Minelab detectors. Hunting parks, houses, schools and fields.
Metal Detecting I&I club hunt 4/13/24
Illinois & Iowa Treasure hunters club hunt. Wooded area that had a lot of activity. The thorn bushes were definitely ferocious!!!

It sounds like youre discriminating out possible rings and jewelry if your ditcing 50 and under. Not a great idea if youre detecting swimming holes. Good luck.
