It’s comforting to see that even a GM venom player had trouble hitting with venoms tentacles lol
i agree. Made me realize positioning and deviating attention is way more important than actual aim and getting kills
My goal is to distract the healer, also use melee
@@rinreborn7364use melee after each tentacle hit, they blend almost seamlessly
What a chill guy, easy plays no pressure, good decision making and best of all blaming him self and realizing mistakes that he made. Gonna go feed my games with Venom after :D

You’re like one of 3 people on the entirety of YT I’ve seen that consistently upload Venom content as well as it being educational. Recently decided to pick him up(was maining reed and had a great time) . I’ve noticed I am improving ,but I’d like to get him good enough to play in my grandmaster lobbies before I commit to it fully
getting him good enough to play in gm is so real, i was scared to play him till i was atleast 50 into my division and could afford to lose.
We won that game and i had confidence in venom after that, hopefully your “debut” ranked game with him goes well.
I learned I’m absolutely overusing my swing on the initial dive, thanks!
This game needs this wholesome attitude, I shall change my ways.

The chat in this game is always filled with the most toxic salt I’ve ever seen.
It pisses me off so bad, people will literally win and still trash talk. Dudes will just choose to be toxic no matter the circumstances

Yo DH I sort of sunk most of my day into playing venom after seeing your vids was wondering do you use easy swing? I’ve found it’s sort of up to choice whether or not to turn on cuz it’s not mega useful to me😅
I keep it on and pretty sure DH does as well. Gets you out of trouble faster IMO

I've learned a lot from your gameplay but I do have some thoughts on his kit.
I think he should have two options for swinging like a separate bind so you can zip forward without triggering easy swing. I like easy swing as an "oh crap" button but having no forward mobility is rough in some situations. Also do you feel his corrosion is a little underpowered? I don't mind the damage but the slow does not feel very impactful at all. If it had half the magnitude of widow's ult slow it would be so good to have for pressure and utility.
You don't get web zip if ur using easy swing? I always have it turned off so I don't know exactly how it works
My main struggle is actually securing kills because of how janky his primary fire is

Shocked you were able to get that angle on the dive. I thought it had to be downward. So it can be a 0 degree but can’t be upward?

It feels pretty weird to see easy swing being used but if it works it works, go slay king
Theres a few downsides to not having it, but i keep it on because it also allows my eyes that extra few moments on the battlefield. Granted i use controller

He has it on. He’s a much more committed venom player than most and utilizes swing as an oh shit button.

I’m also gm3 venom 99% of the time. Hope on that front building glass right at the beginning of the Main Street. I’ve never been spotted
You got any tips for Venom? He's my only character at Captain right now, but sometimes I feel like I miss my shots and throw games, always just dying instantly when I dive.
I'm curious about your Venom settings. Specifically whether or not you have it set to hold jump on a wall to stay or you have it where you simply tap the jump button on the wall.
why dont you have manual aim for swing?
is the auto swing better or are you just used to it?
I guess I have to learn how to use Venom because while Dr Strange is good I sometimes need to play dive tank and hulk is always banned.
what characters would you say counter venom pretty well? I know you have said punisher and namor in other videos.
Loki does as well, he can protect the back line from Venom

Firstly do you think that venoms grab should stop enemies from being able to vanish out of it and slow them down even more almost like a hulk stun or mantis sleep? And secondly should his ULT be able to kill enemies below half HP?
i don’t think so. but as a wolverine main i might be a tiny bit biased
5:08 Your first kill feed. Venom has never really been super effective. He doesn’t fit as a tank because of his play style being a back line dive. He’s not a dps cuz you have to run before anyone is dead.

It comes down to personal preference. Its not as necessary on venom as it is on spiderman

You'd be surprised at how many people mess up the "basic stuff" and be hardstuck Gold-Plat.
This guy is GM because he has really good game sense and knows when to push in/pull back.
