Thank you Fern, definitely support doing less haul/bringing in less new plants next year. Instead focusing on the collection you have whilst downsizing them or even 1 in and 1 out would be great. I’ve been trying to do that too. Really lets you see the full potential of each plants that you are growing instead of always being like I want this and I want that.
I feel like you were speaking to me at the end there. Is my Etsy cart loaded with plants? Sure is. But I am trying to focus a bit more on downsizing and really caring for the plants I do have now. I don’t know what I would do if I was gifted plants all the time 😂
It is nice to reach the point when it gets intentionally curated. I only have a couple I want next year also but I need to make room for them. Pretty plants and Christmas tree. And dang, your nails grow fast.
this year i went from 1 dying monstera in january to 30 thriving plants in december 😅 i’m cutting myself off for the foreseeable future bc frankly my apartment is at capacity & i fear the reorganization i’m gonna have to do the second anything sizes up, but im honestly so glad i was forced to chop & prop my og monstera bc it led me to this new hobby (and your channel!)
I love your collection ❤ I got rid of my silver sword too bc it kept giving me small leaves even on a moss pole! It was annoying if I get another it will definitely be a mature one! I definitely wouldn’t mind getting a baby variegated version though love yours 😍

Ooooh my favorite? Probably monstera Thai constellation. I got one at Walmart! I don't even go to Walmart very often. Another one I got at Walmart in the spring was the star bright deffenbachia. It's so lush and bushy. It's just happy and easy. Probably those two. 🥰
i also love my frosted heart, dont have the variegated (yet?) but the frosty one is 🤌 for sure. ive been on a bit of a no buy, trying to expand my IRL plant friends instead so i can maybe trade for things, although i have to confess i did give in to a black friday sale at bros with hoes. other than that though, just trying to get the babes i have to thrive and learn as much as i can from them. which is hard bc in the us we have palmstreet and the sales are so good. still, though, ive been trying to save up first, instead of budget it in like i was earlier this year. if that makes sense? anyway, love you and your collection, i live my wishlist plants vicariously hahaha
