G. F. Handel, HWV 260: Exceeding Glad Shall We Be - Cantemos

Exceeding Glad Shall We Be is a chorus for SATB composed by George Frideric Handel as part of his 3rd coronation anthem. This piece is thought to have been composed between 9 September 1727 and 11 October 1727. As a newly naturalised British citizen in 1727, Handel was charged with composing a coronation music for the coronation of George II of Great Britain and Queen Caroline which took place on 11 October the same year.
