    Thanks, own two and have never commissioned them. Lost manuals or misplaced long ago. Great video with a onus on safety and as Brandon has promised us a Dark Winter I thought I'd test everything and be ready for the zombies

    Thank you for the video, just purchased this so I would not be caught off guard again this winter. Unfortunately I have to spend around $45 for a 5 gallon of fuel since nowhere in my city has fill up points. But money is no factor since this can save your life ! Great review man and stay safe.

    Thank you for making this video. I was a little rusty on how to get it going... I have one of these and I always make sure to take it outside to light it and snuff it out because it puts out black smoke during the lighting and snuffing process. Is that normal?

    • @matthewmeltonTEAMMELTONFISHING
      @matthewmeltonTEAMMELTONFISHING  2 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it! It's normal for it to smoke when you light it and also when you put it out. Have a great day, please like and subscribe. :)

    Thanks for the vid. Ok, I have a kerosene jug like yours but there's a large plastic filter inside it preventing the use of the pump. What kind of blue jug are you using?

    I am reading reviews about these kerosene heaters (not this one specifically) and some reviews are talking about a weird smell or a fireball when you turn it off. Have you experienced any of these problems?

    Can you recommend something to put it on to push it? This thing is heavy without anything in it to me...

      you could use a 4 wheel moving dolly to move it around on hard surfaces.

      Check and see but you might have old or even moisture in your kerosene, that can cause them to run funny see if that helps. Thanks for watching Dave.

    Can you put Kerosine in it while its still on?

    • @matthewmeltonTEAMMELTONFISHING

      I would not do that! That's definitely asking for trouble. Please be careful, thanks for watching! Please like and SUBSCRIBE.

      Good question, but I’m not sure why you’d need to. This heater is so easy to light and extinguish that it makes the most sense to snuff the flame with the button before refilling.

      @dwdelve 2 года назад +1

      @@totallyfrozen I'd wait and let it cool, whats the hurry? Also concider if you may or may not have a fire extinguisher on hand and not near by.

      Really? Of course I did. I had other problems with the heater so I improved it by throwing it in the garbage bin where it belongs. @@LivvyLat
