I thought this season was amazing until playing last night in my trio… we had a 3 team stand off, 2 teams (us and one other) were on hills and the third was on island. We sat there for what felt like 5 minutes mindlessly shooting ar’s at eachothr (my team isn’t keen on pushing). I went through 500 rounds of ar ammo and ran out, looted some near by bot drops for ammo, and kept shooting. At one point I said “dude this is literally lame as hell”. Cars and fists were more fun lolol

I fucking hate this game now, and I can’t even give it credit for how inconsistent the new weapons are. But I have to admit the monarch, pistol and sovereign shotgun are really damn good. Best guns is a while. But like I said I can’t even give them credit because I have a looming dark feeling that they’re gonna screw it up like they always do in chapter 6. And make the weapons trash again bc they just can’t seem to top the scar tac and pump (they are iconic) but that doesn’t mean they can’t have a successor.
For me, I think this season is Mid. The Skins are okay, Peely skin was LOOOONG overdue, Gwenpool skin is alright, but the Emote is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Mysterio skin is solid along side with the red variant. Emma Frost is a good skin but should've gotten a built in emote for her diamond form. The rest of the skins are pretty good, but the superlevel variants of the battle pass aren't really as good as the previous Marvel season (in my opinion) I still respect your opinion, but at the end of the day, it all goes down to preference.

Cloning thing could be really cool. Just make it so it’s for a few seconds, and it’s a few skins that match yours walking around in the same area. Maybe it’ll be a mythic later this season, who knows 🤷

Yeah, but honestly we had Fortnitemares the past 2 years as Fortnite original and they have consistently dropped the ball. I mean, last Fortnitemares Kado Thorne was killed in a quest, not even any cinematic or anything. If Marvel can make Fortnite make a BIG Fortnitemares that could even rival the Chapter 2 Season 4 Fortnitemares, that would be awesome! But the roadmap does have Fortnitemares as just Fortnitemares, so as far as we know it’s Fortnite original

In builds the shield is easily counterable but in no builds it’s almost always an essential item to have. I think the debate over whether the items are OP or not, really depends on if your a no build player or a builds player
i think its cool that they are now going to release the pickaxes when they are retired, but I think winners of FNCS should get a special version of it!
I loves this new season the only issues i have are the insane levels to complete the extra rewards like 150 just to reach super styles in the battlepass and how quick the war machine gets phased out onces people have jetpacks

From what I’ve played of the season, yeah, it’s a little tricky to win. I got a good squad for when I play, but I get not everyone has that. I won the match I recorded for background footage in this vid and I was pretty proud of it 🚶♂️

Yeah, that’s understandable and I totally get that. That’s why I really love Fortnite’s solution of adding Reload for a permanent “OG” game mode. Personally love the season, but I understand it’s not for everyone 👍

I mean u aint wrong on the start of Ch2S4 Doom basically just added a mini house castle in pleasant park and made some of the houses in a similar style. Then we had Stark industries later in the season which imo saved the map changes for that season. This season we basically got the raft, Doomstadt, which is dooms domain 2.0, dooms courtyard and his castle

We’ll be getting more mythics later this season, hopefully every week after September 4th since it appears they are kind of on some sort of “mini-break” right now… I like how balanced they made the distribution of mythics and marvel locations this marvel season though. Last marvel season we got like 10 mythics at launch and one house in Pleasant Park. This season at launch we got 5 marvel mythics and 3 new marvel locations. Hopefully we get a new Stark location, but throughout this season we will be getting a ton of more mythics. Really excited for that iron man one! Looks sick 👀
Ok, heres my opinion, im a sorta above average player: the shield just got nerfed, so it can't take a mag of dual uzis that are grey so just break their shield and hit them 2 times with the sovereign or gatekeeper, if you have a hammer pump, thats why we carry ARs the shield can't even go beyond 50 meters, so if build players are mad, i don't even know, zerobuild i understand but it goes from amazing (against a bot) to a death sentence against a real player because they do 50 damage, then you break their shield boom pow dead the shields really useless against real players other than the sake of going into a players box, warmachines arsenal? Uhhh goodluck? Just spam bunkers or hold builds then shoot them because most aren't competent in a actual fight, but i just hope epic KEEPS IT LIKE THIS because this for me and many others is the exact sweetspot in gameplay between fun mythics and usable guns. Btw loved the videogonna sub just because of this.
We are going to have a ton of updates this season, and I mean, we haven’t even gotten all the new items yet. We still need all the Stark mythics, and that new Doctor Doom laser that were shown in the trailer. This is on top of everything else we might get throughout the season.
I said it was the worst out of the 3 war machine mythics. Personally, I find myself using it the least out of all 3, and I find the other 2 to be more useful overall

I don’t think it killed Fortnite. We just got the numbers published, and it’s still doing pretty good! The reason OG’s were so big was due to the fact that it was Chapter 1. Chapter 2 OG will bring it up again, and then some of the players it gains will trail into the new Chapter launch and first two seasons. By the time the 3rd season releases, the player count will be back to normal pretty much. I think this will be the pattern for the foreseeable future 🚶♂️

We’ll be getting more mythics later this season, hopefully every week after September 4th since it appears they are kind of on some sort of “mini-break” right now…
I like how balanced they made the distribution of mythics and marvel locations this marvel season though. Last marvel season we got like 10 mythics at launch and one house in Pleasant Park. This season at launch we got 5 marvel mythics and 3 new marvel locations. Hopefully we get a new Stark location, but throughout this season we will be getting a ton of more mythics. Really excited for that iron man one! Looks sick 👀

Ok, heres my opinion, im a sorta above average player: the shield just got nerfed, so it can't take a mag of dual uzis that are grey so just break their shield and hit them 2 times with the sovereign or gatekeeper, if you have a hammer pump, thats why we carry ARs the shield can't even go beyond 50 meters, so if build players are mad, i don't even know, zerobuild i understand but it goes from amazing (against a bot) to a death sentence against a real player because they do 50 damage, then you break their shield boom pow dead the shields really useless against real players other than the sake of going into a players box, warmachines arsenal? Uhhh goodluck? Just spam bunkers or hold builds then shoot them because most aren't competent in a actual fight, but i just hope epic KEEPS IT LIKE THIS because this for me and many others is the exact sweetspot in gameplay between fun mythics and usable guns. Btw loved the videogonna sub just because of this.

I don’t think it killed Fortnite. We just got the numbers published, and it’s still doing pretty good! The reason OG’s were so big was due to the fact that it was Chapter 1. Chapter 2 OG will bring it up again, and then some of the players it gains will trail into the new Chapter launch and first two seasons. By the time the 3rd season releases, the player count will be back to normal pretty much.
I think this will be the pattern for the foreseeable future 🚶♂️
