- ‘Yuyutsu’, who was one of the important character from Mahabharata, a war which was fought between two groups, the Kauravas, and Pandavas. Yuyutsu was the son of Dhritarashtra who was the king of Kuru kingdom and a maid Sugadha, Sugadha was the maid of Dhritarashtra’s wife Gandhari. Yuyutsu played a small but yet very important role in Mahabharata.
Good to know about my name 😂😂 although I watched Mahabharat and knew it before hand 😉

Yes sir ur correct.
Ur a warrior sir.

Karna The Elder Brother Of Pandavas Was On The Kauravs Side With Duryodhana
Yuyustu The Elder Brother Of Kauravas Was On Pandavas Side With Yudhistir

I hate it when people ad “a” to the end of words when it’s not RIGHT and this whole tale is about what’s right and what’s wrong
@@kiran7726 yup me too.
But isn't that how it's read? I think it's the variation between North and South India.

You should say "The only Dhaartaraashtra who survived" because even Pandavas are Kauravas being in the same lineage of Kuru
"Curious to fight" is not correct. "Yuyutsā" means the desire to do battle. Yōddhum icchā. The root verb is yudh. Yuyutsu is one who has yuyutsā, i.e. is eager to do battle. In words such as this which describe a desire to do something, the first letter of the root verb gets doubled. Bubhukṣā (from bhuj) - the desire to eat, i.e. hunger. Pipāsā (from pā) - the desire to drink, i.e. thirst. Jijñāsā (from jñā) - the desire to know, i.e. curiosity. Mumukṣā (from muc - to free) - the desire for spiritual liberation (mōkṣa).
Add to that Jijivisha: desire to live
@@Ttk659 and many more such :)
@@forestswaras thanks. I was about to write this comment. I would like to add this derivation is referred to as desiderative mood.

In yututsu's video...you have written 6 lackh soldiers instead of 60 thousand
Happens out of excitement 😛
And you have written 6 lackh instead of 6 lakhs
A noted Bengali scholar gave a simple formula to arrive at exact number from myth. Just divide it by one thousand. Going by that logic, 60,000 becomes 60, makes sense

To all those calling him Vibhishan of Mahabharat. Kauravas and Pandavas were cousins and such was not the case in Ramayan. He didn't betray anyone.
The comparison with Vibhushan is because both Yuyutsu and Vibhishan were tied to the villains of their respective epics through blood. But they both chose to do the right thing and fight for what is right rather than follow family loyalties even though their relatives were clearly in the wrong. Why do you think Vibhishan betrayed anyone? Vibhishan did what was right. And that's the point of these epics. To do the right thing is more important than to follow after someone blindly. Your loyalty should be to goodness and what is right and not to a person or ideology.

If you are referring to Duryodhan and Co. as Kauravas, then:
1. don't include Yuyutsu. Yuyutsu is not one of 100 brothers. He is the son of Dhritarastra's second wife.
2. all the 100 brothers died in the hands of Bhima.
Once again welcome back
Rishi Vysa should have given her a blessing of having one good soon instead of 100 sons.
Almost All sons were characterless like Dushasan, Duryodhan etc.
It's what they were told in their childhood, dhritrastra and shakuni ruined the mind of duryodhan, dushshan and rest were their followers.

Vidur was a half brother, not step brother.
Half brother is when parents are separated. So i guess step brother is correct. If wrong please correct me too
@@swapnalisherkar3951 half brother or sister means they share ine parent. In this case, they have the same father.

Yuyutsu as well as vikaran both survived the mahabharata war both pledged themselves to pandavas and both opposed panchali's chirharan edit: sorry vikaran died by hands of bhima as on wikipedia..anyways nice video keep it up......
Nope vikarna did not survived in mahabharat war .....
Only these 12 people survived in mahabharat war lord Krishna, Arjuna, Bhima, Yudhishthira, Nakula, Sahadeva, Yuyutsu, Satyaki, Kritavarma, Ashwatthama, Kripacharya and Vrishaketu.
@@IndianMonk C'mon Krishna survived! What are you made of.
No Vikarna didn’t survive the war.

'Yuyutsu’ sounds like an anime character name🤔? your video is awesome.👍🏻
Technically pandav were also kaurav. The reason why Duryodhana was aloud to chose naryani Sena. And Arjun to chose lord Krishna. When Arjun and duryodhon raced to meet Krishna as lord Krishna was related from both side his sister married Arjun and his son had married Duryodhana Daughter.

He can be said as vibhishan of dwaparyug
It's true that Yuyutsu was an Athirathi.. but according to me I think Athirathi wasn't the highest rank.. Maharathi was the highest rank!
Correct me if I'm wrong
You are absolutely right. The same thought crossed me. But i thought it isn't worth mentioning after hearing wrong pronunciations 😝 Also Yu isn't Yudhh, utsu isn't Curiosity, utsuk is a curious state of mind. The analogy is so wrong 🙉
That's why she said one of the highest rank
1) Rathi.
More. Higher stage
2) Atirathi capable. Of. Fighting 60,000 warriors all together
More higher stage
3) Maharathi capable of fighting 12 atirathis and 720,000 warriors all together
More. Higher stage
4) Atimaharathi capable of fighting 12 maharathis all together
Now. For. Most highest rank
5).Maha Maharathi capable of fighting 24 atimaharathis all together
Would like to know more . Please help
Thxx for the lectures
Great mythology
It's not a character.. It's a true story..
The tale is the garbled history of an ancient dynastic struggle from the farthest past. It is truly epic in scope. Thank you for this post, I enjoyed it.
These epics are to a limited extent a hyperbole version of Real history, It is hard for westerners to understand the Indian history because they see ever thing with their biblical world view.
2:45 Saying : 60,000
showing :60,0000

iNdian mOnK : YOU WOUDN'T GET IT
I love your voice
There is another theory contradicting what you said in the video. Many consider Yuyuthsu to be the son of Dhritharashtra and another one of his queen's (not Gandhari)
👍
Yuyutsu call me on my cell phone😂😂
Would've loved the video if your facts were accurate and the pronunciation improved. Please say Dharma, not Dharm. There's no word called Dharm in Sanskrit. The same applies to the other words ending with "a".
Well said. Many doesn't pronounce correctly if the last letter ends with 'a' they dont say it properly like Karnataka instead people sound it like karnatak.
Its Dharm in sanskrit. English has a culture to add an 'a' at a non English word adopted from another launguage.
Like Ganesh became Ganesha, Shiv became Shiva, Brahm became Brahma, Krishn became Krishna and so on....
In hindi we say dharm. Maybe he's using that
@@einsteingenius9740 that’s a news to me. English language doesn’t do that man. Dharm is how it’s pronounced in hindi. But not sanskrit. It ends with ‘a’ in sanskrit
Observe the languages that are derived from sanskrit and still use majority of the sanskrit words
So basically Yuyutusu was the Bibhisan of Mahabharat!
Sixty thousand is with 4 zeros, not 5. And the placement of the comma is wrong.
It's ok mr Intel adjust
find a life, you moron :D
Just a suggestion try outro any!
please spell the names correctly as in Sanskrit and all the other non Hindi languages.
it is DRITHARASTRA not anglicized name DRITHARAST.
it has become trend now a days especially with Hindi speakers to change the names.
It is King Bharatha not Bharath
it is Krishna not Krishn
it is Rama not Ram, like wise Mahabharata not Mahabharat, Ramayana not Ramanayan, Lakshmana not Lakshman and list goes on..
there is a reason why every name ends with A pronunciation, ask any well versed Panditha (not Pandith) he will give the answer which is clearly mentioned in our ancient text.
its Dhritrashtra,
Oye chomu, didn't u read RamahRamau Ramaha?
It says Ram: not Rama
Don't add a ,, this is what south indian do , they even add a after my name in railway ticket 🤦 ,, ram also called ramchandra not ramachandra ,,
I totally agree. These Hindi speakers especially.... Chalta hai attitude is ruining the next generation. I often crib when I here people saying Veshali, Minaakshi, Shwetta, Mrinaalni, Go tham, etc 😩
Bro in English after every sanskrit word the vowels a is added coz of grammar rules.
