Succession certificate is for movable assets like bank deposits, pensions gold etc and legal heir certificate is for immovable properties like real estate… 6-7% of the market value has to be paid to the court and waiting period is 4-12 months to obtain these certificates.
No need to register a Will. The certificate issued by an MRO is family member certificate which doesn’t carry any value

My father was purchased land from my grand father in 1992 and it was registered, my grand father was died in Jan 2004 , my grand father daughters are not signed in the register my grand father got this property as patrician in 1963 by paying Rs1000 to his brother now my grandfather sisters and my grandfather daughters telling we are having rights give share in that property
