In my defense, I had no idea it was Joey that saved me from the abductor, I couldn't see much being knocked out. Also, helping an antag as a non-antag can sometimes get you in trouble, so I felt like I had to do something to try and stop him. He kicked my ass anyway, so I probably got what I deserved. Great vid though.
I have played A lot of games but SS13 is one of those games where when you get into a fight with somone for life or death you feel your adrenaline pumping. No other game quite does it.
Because unlike other game where combat is "fun" and "skillful" SS13 is like rolling around in the mud grasping for a rock to bash your adversary's face in.
3 goons and the captn in space? EZPZ 1 chemy boi gun with spikey needle? OHNO Well played man, like a master class in robustness always learn something new in every video and never a dull moment
The code word system is so cool, I love the immersion in this game even when it’s “unnecessary” (the code words, the code you enter into your pda, some others I forgot)
Also makes it easier to work solo, no traitor can rat you out if you don't communicate with them beforehand. If you spawned in knowing who is traitor who isn't, they could always out you if they wanted. Also makes it so traitors aren't even always safe from traitors since they may not know beforehand.
lol i just had the "dumpeet" event trigger for the first time in a round today. it was hilarious seeing 15 people relentless beating the machine with wrenches and crowbars and baseball bats while screaming about our money
Wonderful video, you inspire me to make my own SS13 videos and special moments within SS13, and honestly keep up the good work man. Your a wonderful player and a better editor…. Thank you for making videos and inspiring me.
I really felt it when at 18:42, presumably a head said "Three and four of you cannot catch one traitor? This is annoying, and makes me want to kill myself"
You don't have a Shift+E hotkey, what does it take out or put in the belt slot? It seems to me that you could instantly take out a revolver with this combination and put it away too. I wonder if these powerful bullets (I don't remember the caliber) can be put in large quantities in a box or is there only a small caliber? They could also throw a bola at a fallen person, so that there would be less chance of avoiding arrows later. It was a steep cut. I like your content, maybe I'll start learning English to play on your servers. Good luck.
- I do have shift-e set for quickdraw from belt, as well as shift-b for bags, I just always forget and click everything in the moment. - Boxes can fit 7 items. So, I was carrying two boxes full of .357 caliber rounds (enough to refill one speed-loader). - Bola-ing people lying down is definitely a good shout, I just didn't bother. I appreciate the comment, maybe we'll meet some day.
they can embed or do slashing wounds when thrown and has good damage, its ineffective against armored people. Its only good against non armored individuals.
@@exymian1342 neat fact, limbs cant be armored, so if you throw a hatchet targeting limbs, it can still embed through secs armor and cause a nasty bleeding gash to kill them via bloodloss.
As someone who doesn't play SS13 very much it would be easier to follow and more entertaining if you explained things a little bit as you're playing. Tell us what you're thinking, what you're doing, explain what's happening, that kind of thing. It can be minimal and doesn't even have to be live (but this would save time and be more genuine). You don't have to do full-blown commentary and editing and time-consuming stuff like that, just give your thoughts as you go along. My channel only has like 8 subscribers but anyway, what I do is I upload a version with commentary and one without, so people can choose what they prefer. Double the uploads, half the work. Feed the algorithm and expand your audience at the same time. That's the theory... hasn't worked too well for me but it might for you with a pre-existing audience. Can save further time by configuring OBS to record 3 tracks: 1) Your voiceover, 2) Untampered game audio, 3) game audio with automatic ducking in OBS when you speak. Then in Premiere or whatever, strip the unneeded audio tracks from your two exports. Ducker settings I use: ratio 9:1, threshold -33 dB, attack 50 ms, release 1000 ms, ducking source: whatever your mic is. Keep your voice peaking in the yellow zone. If you want to give it a try I can help you set it up. Voice compressor to keep your levels stable, all that.
I definitely want to improve clarity / demonstrate thought processes better to the non-ss13 players in my videos, which I would prefer to accomplish with text explanations / hints / tips. I already do have my OBS to setup three tracks of audio (I normally listen to music when playing), I just don't think people would flock to listen to my voice explain things. Maybe at some distant point in the future. But I appreciate the advice nonetheless.
Save a guy from abduction, he splashes you with acid. No good deed goes unpunished.
unga bunga me see traitor me kill traitor
Even worse, he was his fellow botanist.
Betraying one of your own is cringe, we all know this.
You never know when the traitor is just "saving" you for an alibi. I can sympathise, even if it was strange here.

Pit people music fits so good for ss13
I won't lie. Sometimes I forget I'm watching these, and just bop along to the music and multi task. You have good taste in music. :P
to the one guy who said it, I agree. WE NEED JOEY PETUNIA LORE PLEASE THIS GUY IS SO ROBUST HE NEEDS LORE

Excellent music and video cut. Thanks a lot for such the highest quality niche content.

Well, I definitely did have fun. I'll work on the lack of clarity in the future.
HoS, Warden and assistant all breaking sop to valid an eoc in space while wearing class s contraband. Are there rules on this server?
Manuel has no set SOP unlike some other MRP servers, which leads to that kinda stuff sometimes.
Who the fuck cares about "SOP" and "Rules" all those do is prevent you from doing awesome space battles for no good reason
Dude, your music taste is always on point. Fucking sweet.
