As someone who eats fig newtons by the “sleeve” while hiking, I’m now excited to try the “figgy strawberry cream cheese peanut butter sandwich”. Yummy, yummy, yummy I’ve got love in my tummy !! I have a need for more Elina videos.🦋
Love the videos please keep it up! You're a great storyteller. Also, you've unlocked the key to the universe as you've discovered Yellowbird hot sauce 😊
TVP or freeze dried tofu adds the needed protein to ramen. I’m 61 and women after 60 need extra protein. Having a plant based diet I have to find creative ways to get my protein.
oh man elina.. i gobble your videos up harder than you and peanut butter. what an absolute treat to see the world through your eyes. honoured to have found you on this platform.
There's a great backpacking recipe for recreating that kind of vinegar-y rice with a dehydrator if you ever wanna try it out. I found the recipe on a site called backpacking chef, under "trail sushi". I tried it on the Foothills Trail with tuna + soy sauce + hot sauce and it was great! (Though I too ended up relying on peanut butter for most of my trail meals)
Wow. Ok. Very rude of you to not honor Fred Meyer and dill pickle chips while you were back in America but happy you discovered blue Taki's🤪 The colors and tones in this video were so lovely especially all the shots by the campfire! Thank you for continually sharing your gift ❤ You always have a home in Northern California if you ever need a place to stay! -Monica (from Alaska Trova Trip)
your gift for filmmaking keeps me watching you, while I have stopped following many hikers. keep up the great content.
Nicely filmed. And more proof that you can never go wrong combining classical music and good editing.

Or, eat grass fed beef, sardines, salmon.
The most beautiful thru-hike food video I have ever seen.
