Loved seeing them at The Strand Theater in Sunbury, PA! Never missed KIX when they came to town! Those times defined my youth! Thanx KIX! And thanx for keeping on rocking throught the years. Would love to hear something new, but it really doesn't matter to me much cause nothing could ever bring back the days of The Strand and my youth! Rock On KIX!
I come from Harrisburg PA where they pretty much started.....they opened for EVERYBODY who played city island...saw them met them, hung out with one or two of them...Donnie Pernell comes to mind....Great band.
I saw these guys at Rocky Gap Resort in Maryland with Great White and in Altoona, pa at the Railroad Museum by them selfs in 2019. These dudes Rock and put on a great show. I wish these dudes would show up somewhere and put on a 3 hour show somewhere. They have great songs to do it. I know a lot of people would attend. They need to bring this show to the Summit Areana in Johnstown, pa. It would be a great show in Johnstown. If they can’t play there. How about a show at The Jaffa Mosque in Altoona, pa. It Holds about 5000 thousand people. They would tear the place up. Guaranteed. Please bring this show to Altoona soon. Hoping and praying they come soon.
I must have saw these guys 20-30 times in the 80's. Most of those were at the Greatest R&R club ever, Hammerjacks! Great good time R&R Band. Does anyone know whatever happened to Donnie Purnell? (original bassist and wrote most of the tune)
I remember them from the MOuntain View when they were the Shooz!!! (Or however they spelled it). The owner was my baseball coach and he snuck me in to see them many times, then when i was old enough to go myself i saw them again!!
I've seen Whitemen and this band perform at the York Fair for a long time but that ended the night some A-hole thru a battery and hit him in the head on wednesday night... Give the York Fair a real "Knock Out " performance... Dang sure miss you guys . Thank for all the great shows Steve!
The idea of a disagreement between Whiteman and Purnell isn't true. There is no feud, there was no falling out of any kind, the original members simply chose not to work with Donnie any longer.
Shame they never made it nationally, they were a fun band to see live. I know this sounds like a pussy, but they were up there with Ac/Dc and Los Lobos (yeah,, over U@) where they were just fun to go see.
Coco foR CoCo PuFFs 🍳🍳🛀. Yeah how did one guy jump around and get all the various shots on one iPhone ? ThiS had a control center like NFL with the flying 📷..
HAHAHAHA why do people consist of disliking a video when its only them who really hates it. i think that person should be locked in a room with this kind of music going 24/7 fur a whole year. i would laugh so much and watch that person go crazy :D
@nighttimeshadow Ronnie Younkins(sp) used to hang out I'd go to meeting with him,he also got us in a couple shows backstage.Hope he's doing well...Dominic
To 24 SweetThing this video is long after the original bass player, Donnie Purnell, left the band. Steve Whiteman and Donnie had a falling out and cannot seem to reconcile there feud.
Saw these guys open at a Triumph concert in Seattle back in 1981. Sounded good and had a lot of energy but when the lead singer put himself inside a trash bag and told a story about when he was born, they wound up getting booed and had to leave when the crowd threw things. One of the guitarists got hit with a bottle and left in the middle of a song. They still seem to have the same energy but he should just sing. That woman hunting story is so tired and creepy now coming from a guy his age.
a fistfight ?-egocentrism ?- love triangle affair ? jalouesy ?aids ? crack addict since 1995 show bizness flop ? What really happen whit Mr Purnell ? Only god and him know why ? hey donny lots of hardcore fans like us want JUST THE FACTS DUDE !!!! god bless KIX!! god bless rock n roll god blesss a m e r i c a !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can someone plz tell me if this was before or after the videos "Get It While Its Hot, Blow My Fuse, and Dont Close Your Eyes, because the bass player in the videos I named was different. Would appreciate an answer. THX
@SkylerRussell1 Im wondering how the fuck one steals a song from a guy thats passed out on a tour bus.Maybe he had night terrors and screamed out the lyrics while he was sleeping.?
Was at this concert. Merriweather a great place to see a festival show. Kix ruled the day.

One of the best shows I ever saw. Early 80's, twice at the Stroud and once in Chicago.
Never fails 🥁
