      @queenwere1 10 месяцев назад +3

      If you put the pins perpendicular to the stitching they never break,the machine needle just glides over them

    • @ImJustSayingBTW
      @ImJustSayingBTW 8 месяцев назад +1

      We should never use the foot controller or start button to sew over pins but use the handwheel to slowly walk over pins if they must stay in. Sewing over pins fast is for people who have replacement machine money lying around and extra eyeballs to lose.
      Edit: I also worked for a sewing machine company, and we never advised to sew over pins because if you cause damage to the machine,chat voids the manufacturer warranty. The cost of repair 9/10 is at least the cost of the machine. I have enough professional, personal, and entrepreneurial experience to say that machine sewing over pins is not the best practice, but again, your money, your needles, your eyeballs, your machine. I won't lose a thing by anyone damaging their own property. I lend my machines to no one.

    Beautiful dress! Could you explain more about the top part of the dress? How was the side boob part sew on with the mesh? I guess I’m thinking if I didn’t do a side boob piece and only trace out mesh for the front piece and a different fabric for the back piece would it make a difference if it’s long enough to be sewn together?
