the short wall next to the crapper would be a perfect spot to hang your TP. Sound like a good suggestion. hell if you don't like it, just rip it out since it will only cost about $30 in material. But Flair and his team have polished that turd and it looks like a great possible rental or extended family home for visits! Nice work

Flair I'd add the poop wall you can add your T.P holder to it too if you plumb the vent to the bottom side of the poop wall. Brad love the videos man.

When my maternal grandfather built his house in 1948 it was built in 3 sections as and when he could afford the materials and with hardwood lumber he cut himself. The largest bedroom wasn't the master, but a 'barracks' style room for his four kids. He ended up with 8 kids so the largest bedrooms were for them while the smallest bedroom was the actual master for him and his wife. The kitchen, dining and bathroom were the first section built. They lived in an old army surplus tent until the bedrooms were finished. There was an outhouse toilet until 1997! It still has a septic tank even though it's on the outskirts of one of the largest cities in the country.

The poop wall should be a go, privacy and a great/convenient place for the tp holder. Put u a hand rail on it for those times u need to really give it a good hard push.

This was another fun episode, Brad. It's going to be fun living "next door" to the Flairs. When you and Andrew get together, it's always a good video. Your senses of humour are awesome.
As for the remodel, the BCC boys are doing a good job, aren't they?!? I'm impressed with what they've learned and now accomplished. I would *definitely* add the partial poop wall in that bathroom. As a woman, I can tell you that the other good reason why it'd be a good thing is because if someone accidentally walks in on you, you're a bit 'covered'.
That's really generous of you to offer up some of your extra supplies to him. I absolutely think he should put the vinyl flooring throughout. Maybe it's because I'm a dog (who sheds horribly in the spring and fall) owner, but I'm just not a fan of carpet. I have no desire to vacuum carpets.
I don't think you'd call the flooring I have in this house vinyl, but it is not hardwood, despite the 'pattern' on it. I wouldn't choose this fake hardwood looking flooring in my home, but it'd just been done when I bought this house and so it's in good shape. Even with having Max (our 12yo dog) going thru this house for the past 10 years, there's not a scratch or scuff on it from him. Now my daughter has moved back in with her cat and puppy, and with three critters running around it's still in perfect condition.
Someone out there needs to make a sign to put outside of this house that reads "The Dog House", haha! It'll be a great guest house, whether it's for your extra visitors or Andrew and Macy's. Speaking of Macy, I'm glad she's involved in this house remodel too! I'd love to see her and what choices she's made! That young lady has a keen eye. I think if her designer ever needs someone to help her make decisions, etc. she should hire Macy!
Anyways, sorry for another long one. I have GOT to learn to say less, but I feel like I'm writing a good friend a letter every time I comment! Take care😊

The dog house would be an excellent name for it, and it would be fun if we could keep it as a guest house for when viewers win contests to come out and visit the ranch… I’ll have to run that by Flair !

That's a great idea, but oooooh, pls pick me!!!! Haha, I could not ever make the trip and it wouldn't make much sense since I'd need my wheelchair, but man oh man, would I love the chance to meet you, your wife and Andrew, the guys, Macy, etc. That'd be so much fun! Out of curiosity, I just looked it up to see how long the flight would be from our nearest airport to Omaha and it's over 7hr!
I'd need 5 days to recover from the trip before I could even be upright long enough to spend time with anyone! We are always hopeful that maybe there will be a breakthrough on a surgery for my type of spinal injury sometime soon!? I'd be a willing guinea pig if they wanted to try, haha! Fingers crossed.
The house may be great for your daughter and her family too if they come out and stay for a long weekend, etc. They'd have their own space with their children for naps, etc. but be close enough to come for breakfast!
I'm really happy that you and Andrew have become such good friends. He IS sharp for sure, witty as heck but seems like a genuinely good and nice person on top of it all. No surprise he respects you so much😉 as I feel like I just described you.

If they're vinyl planking over the old wood floors, I hope they are at least floating them so they can be refinished and exposed again one day. One of the few nice, old features that didn't get lost to time in that house.

The poop wall is a great idea, it also gives you a better location for the TP holder. It's easier to reach to the side than behind. What if you printed up a fake stop work order as a prank?

Well since the house can be used now he could use it as a air b&b n when the googans come to town he can put them all up or in duck hunting season rent it to hunters or fishing and be a hunt/fishing guide but you need to use a code to book it or have it there for other youtubers n there family when there colabing with him or urself

Well…. What is your skill level & knowledge? If not much then start small with remodels or work with a buddy that knows the construction business to get your feet wet before jumping in with both feet

Also I didn’t know you need permits to remodel your house. Was that because he did new electrical and water lines? I’m thinking about redoing my bathroom would I need permits too?
It’s because the inspector was driving by this house to check on Andrew’s main house and when he got inside he saw they were redoing the electrical and plumbing that’s when they needed to have a permit
If you’re tearing out and replacing plumbing and electrical, you need to make sure you have a license contractor to help you with that

@ BRAD AND FLAIR....I vote NO on the half poop wall. Only because its something i remember from the 80s- 90s houses. Also as someone with a disability not all walkers fit within those specs, and if you need a wheelchair its easier without an obstacle in your way. Id get a temporary partition/room divider. Something tou could remove easily should the need arrive. I wouldve moved the bathroom around while you had the plumbing guys there. Its your home whatever you like go with, but due to my needs and circumstances i wouldnt do it. Plus with it being a ranch and having the washer dryer moved up, id leave everything open. If u want privacy shut the door. Like i said its ur house do what u want. I do think 2 things are going on here and ive been thinking them since the beginning and im burying this at the bottom of my reply so i dont accidently spoil something if im right. 1 yall mentioned a long time ago about giving it to EUGENIO possibly and 2 well APRIL 1... we all know is april fools day. Cant wait to see the outcomè of both houses.

When Andrew is finished with a remodel on the old house, you need to have a chat with Jake and Banjo.
As young as they are, if they could get an old house and fix it up to use as a rental, then get another house and do it again, they would be way ahead of the game. Then they could each take one or stick together to get more income property.
Not counting my house, I didn't start buying properties until I was in my 30's but even so it still worked out pretty well. 🎺🎺

The poop wall is a great idea I flip properties myself for investors here in NC and im warning him now that vent beside the toilet will make him wanna climb the wall when its cold and the heat comes on and the first gush of cold air runs up his back....

They’re putting a sliding door on which will be open most of the time, and I suggested this half wall to hide the toilet that will be in clear view…Flair called it a poop while not me!
