When I first used Dive, I thought it would be like Sonic and after a while the seconds of air remaining would come up in a bubble and after time ran out you'd wake up in a Pokemon Center. But nope, turns out Brendan's just Aquaman.
It's truly magical to come to a channel that hasn't uploaded a video in 12 years. A look back at how it was. Scrolling through comments talking about how wondrous this was then and, how they're excited for what's to come or, seeing others come back from the past's future to tell others about what is now and then, comparing it to how far we've come in the present. Truly a magical time capsule.
I hope the person who ran this account knows how much people love them for all the memories they have left for us to enjoy. Truly is a time capsule like you said.

Kids these days will never know how amazing this was. Being a small child, playing on my GBA, exploring the world of Hoenn. Especially once you make it past Lilycove, you feel like there’s so much to explore. The diving segments made me think I could find all kinds of ancient secrets. Man what a time
I mean, that isn’t so true, when I played Omega Ruby for the first time, in 2017, when I was 12, I had such an awe filled feeling playing through it, the magic of the undersea areas, the amazing music, the feeling of exploration, none of it was lost on me. That was 5 years ago, surely there are kids now experiencing the same feelings I had and that you had towards games now.
I can imagine wearing goggles and an oxygen tank that appeared outta no where :P *But seriously it would be cool seeing all the pokemon especially Lanturns, I love them*
Just imagine,living in the Pokemon world and diving.....While diving,you see different kinds of Pokemon,like Lanturns swimming around,or Staryus............Its pretty beautiful.
Yea you can dive in BW, it can earn you some money but it's kinda meh. Diving was one of my favorite parts of gen 3. There are so many secrets to discover underwater, including one major damn one~
The Pokemon uses its gills to absorb oxygen to transfer to him using a special power or apparatus that only Pokemon, who are able to use the Dive move, posses. Pokemon really are amazing. It's the strong bond that you create with them that matter.

I remember catching a relicanth on my second dive. I had no idea what it was, but I kept it. One day, I told my friends and they were all jealous, and said I could catch the regis now. Then I did the worst thing, I googled it. I found so many possibilities, but at the same time threw away the adventure that came with the game. I still regret it. Never use walkthroughs, everybody.
To be fair I remember finding that underwater cave where you unlock the regis, and I can say for sure that I would not have figured out you needed a Relicanth and a Wailord without looking it up lol.
So insanely melodic with an absolutely beautiful chord progression. Theres a VERY small segment at the end of a keyboard solo by Rick Wakeman on the Yes song "Mind Drive" That uses the same chord progression. And it always reminds me of this theme and is incidentally my favorite part of that song even tho it only lasts like 2 seconds its really nostalgic xD

XD The music of Dive was ALWAYS one of my favorite tunes.. it sounds like you really are diving underwater (or are supposed to be on a submarine) XD It sounds like the player is taking a mystical journey in the great depths of the Pokemon seas LOL But that's how I always felt about diving under the Pokemon sea.. you never knew what you were going to find underwater.
This is just a theory made by me but it could be true. You know if you look at the Isshu region map really closely you can see deep patches of water in the sea. It may indicate that Dive could return as a HM in Black and White, if so that would be really awesome! And I would cry if they remade Ruby and Sapphire, they were my favorite games in the series :)

Pokémon Emerald definitely was one of the best Pokémon games. It had the best Battle Frontier ever, WONDERFUL music, underwater worlds, beautiful and varied Pokémon and a great story, too, hunting you through whole Hoenn and you still may find secrets. I like this game pretty much.
since RSE was set in the south japan island kyushu (tropical place) there was a lot of exploring the water and very memorable. DP was based on the north japan island hokkaido (where it snows a lot) so I guess that's why it wasn't based on the ocean as much.
Diving was one of the many things that made R/S/E great. I hope they remake Ruby and Sapphire because to me they are two of the best games in the series. They could also make Diving more advanced in the remakes: the player character wears a breathing mask, and this music gets a remix :)
When I first heard this music, I wanted to make my secret base underwater just so I could hear this music. But plugging in my headphones and killing my micros battery listening to this song for hours on end suited me just fine
That's because: The Japanese version of the game was only about half the size of the game outside of Japan. Since the Latin alphabet (abcdef...) takes up much more memory than Japanese characters, they had to double the game size just to fit all the text. (The way a game cartridge is made, the size has to be in powers of 2, so they couldn't just expand it a little, they had to double it)
It's very random and brief, but ORAS should've kept this detail, the bubbles going to the beat. It reminds me of how I've noticed the gym leader battle music in ORAS is missing all of the melodies the PSG beeps play...
Generation three doesn't deserve all the crap it gets, it introduced a lot of new things, and made the game even more fun. Thumbs up if you like Hoenn!
I wish that I could dive in the newer versions of Pokemon. I think the only thing I miss in Ruby/sapphire/Emerald was a new place to go to. Like in gold/silver where you can go to Kanto
