Hey just picked up a 2022 can am renegade xmr 1000, don’t know much about them with all the computer stuff but in order to put a rjwc exhaust would I just need to run that fuel tuner? And do the instructions tell u everything you need to do for it to run correctly?
Yes not necessarily this exact tuner but if you have after market exhaust you need a tuner.
Question: I’ve installed this tuner with the baseline gains they recommend on an 850xmr. I still find it’s not right, it’s excessively harder on fuel (2 hours on a fuel tank under normal/mud riding conditions) it could use some fine tuning. Have you ever used your own percentage gains that worked? RJWC doesn’t give any other info other than telling me “it’s going to have a higher fuel consumption and it’s been dyno proven”
No I don’t have any advice on percentages. I only tested it with the settings in the instructions then took it off. Not for me.
@@OctaneAtv okay thank you, I wouldn’t put it on my own outlander as well but my buddy got this for “free” with his rjwc exhaust, I don’t like it either. I recommended a flash tune but he said he will try it out for a bit. Figured I’d ask if you played around with it. 👍
I am wondering if you should run a fuel tuner if you have an ecu flash I got my ecu flashed on my xmr1000 seems to have I bit of a back fire not bad but just wondering if it would hurt it to have a fuel tuner on it as well?
No wouldn’t hurt to add a fuel tuner. It can only add fuel not take it away. So it really can’t to any harm.

Yes we played around with the settings to get it where we want it

Yeah, 25% settings is definitely too much. It runs rich, guzzles gas and ends up in your crank case now you have to change your oil.

Same here, and when I did get the instructions, they weren't clear. Numbers on the instructions don't match the numbers the tuner shows.
Not sure what to tell you guys. I don’t work for RJWC… just some guy doing a RUclips video. 🤣 any issues I’d suggest speaking to RJWC directly! 🤟
They’re settings are too much. It adds too much fuel and it ends up in the crank case put your settings on 10%.
