- In this video I visit a dairy farm near Fredericksburg Ohio as they are working ground with a Deutz Fahr 8280 TTV Tractor pulling a KUHN Krause Excelerator XT8010 vertical tillage disk.
The fields had triticale on them that was recently harvester for silage then had manure applied, After the manure was applied they chisel plowed the fields and are now disking them and will plant corn that will chopped for silage in the fall for feed for their dairy cow herd.
They were planting corn in another field close by with their Valtra 900 tractor and 6 row White corn planter. I will have those coming up in a future video.
Good looking team right there, nice 👍
There's a farmer around home that has a dual wheel one of those.😁
Mike, You da man!
That's a nice setup to work the ground😉👍
Nice video as always and that’s a very sweet looking tractor for sure
My home place 👌👌
I'm excited for your valtra video
Great video Mike. We don't get many tillage videos this time of year. 😊👍🏻👍🏻
Enjoyed the video 👍 Regards from Down Under.
You sound like that waltz character up in Minnesota, you will throw anything at the wall to see if it sticks 😂
I don't know who that is?
Great video, again!
7:40 That's a pretty cool shot when you grab the camera.
Nice video . ❤
I like Mike less videos on RUclips from the imperial county California 👍🇺🇲🚜 I like plow
There's a farmer around home that has a Fendi tractor. He's usually runs a John Deere .🤔
7:51 Look at the wheels that turn the soil so powerfully. Do you know those spinning discs?
Will you make it back to this farm for corn silage? Great video Mike. As always thanks for the awesome content. 🇺🇸🇺🇸
No I won't be back
I'm going to try.
They're giving John Deere a run for there money..
Does deutz offer long axles on any of there tractors. I haven’t searched for one but seems non of their tractors are set up for row crop
Kind of late for planting corn now, was this recorded back in late May or June ? Thanks Mike !
June
@@farmhandmike Figured it had to be, sorry if it was mentioned in the video I missed it! Tks !
👍
I have seldom seen many DF tractors equipped with duals. Is there a reason for that?
Yes, they are not available from the factory with bar axles and the frame is too wide to really set up for 60" row centers... I hear it is something that will be available soon.
