Whisky .com reviews the Fujikai 10 years. The name of the bottling 'Fujikai' is a combination of the words 'Fuji' and 'Kai'. 'Fuji' is a nearby mountain. The distillery belongs to Yamanashi Prefecture, which was once called 'Kai'.
The nose:
Old diesel truck smoke, leather, tobacco, oak, perfume
The taste:
Dry, smoke
The finish:
Long with smoke

This review reminded me my first experience after I opened (for the first time) the 8yo Togouchi. I love this review a lot! So much so, I had to rewatch it.

You seem to be the guru. I had tried a whisky that tasted like drinking a leather jacket and when I breathed out it was just like exhaling smoke peat. I don't remember if it was some macallan, dewars, or what. What does that sound like to you sir?

So what He suppose to say a about the same whisky dram??? Acting and body language are like words just been unspoken. Same bad whisky (in his opinion), same reaction. He keeps it real. But It is Yours point of view I respect that.

if i was to guess, this whisky was made in response to the Japanese whisky boom, made by distillers that should not be making whisky in order to make a quick buck, it actually makes sense, it always happens in any booming market.

the vid is a 1:1 remake of the german version. he always shots the german vids first. no reaction is authentic, everything is copied.
