My only regret with TT is not going bigger sooner. We were worried we wouldn't like full time rving so we got the lowest membership and worked our way up. In hindsight I wish we would have gone for the adventure package right off the bat and got all the places we wanted with advanced reservations. We still got our money's worth but it was occasionally not ideal.
We’ve been members for years and just upgraded again to the top Adventure Pass. It includes RPI, and Encore as well. It lets you book in advance 2-4 months and we always get reservations no problem. If you full time it’s more than worth it
@@Dosmacs you won’t find many campground spots anywhere, especially during summer, without advanced reservations. It doesn’t matter where or what membership. Even top dollar campgrounds, state and county campgrounds book up.
I'm still confused. (not your fault) Thought TT _might_ be worthwhile for staying in eastern states that don't have a lot of boondocking. But if your TT membership doesn't really guarantee you a spot, then what's the point? 🤷♀🙅
Exactly, if your gonna rv full time, why wouldn’t you have every advantage possible and get the adventure plan that will pay itself off in less than a year. Good luck
@gwwj we just joined last week. We were able to get a monthly space but the only stipulation was we buy the $525 camping pass. They get you one way or the other. Of you can plan your trips, it's worth the money .
Before buying you need to look at the maps of where the parks are actually at. As long as you're in the first states around the outside of the country you're good, otherwise you're screwed.

We are completely happy with our trails membership. It's paid for itself in the first year

Our problem is that we don't have the luxury to book months in advance.

You were trying to do something that is impossible with TT standard. The elite membership is what I have and it works perfectly
What was the RV park in Escondido? We’re in Rancho Bernardo. So I’d love to check it out!
@clarissamangaran6970 we stayed at All Seasons RV park in Escondido. The Thousand Trails park we stayed in was in Menifee and it's Wilderness lakes.

You look fabulous!!❤
We experienced the same thing. Painful. We're getting close to retirement. May join then.

We live in Indiana and are plenty in the mid west
Is TT just a time share? If so I'll pass
TT is not a timeshare and if you do your homework, unlike this person, you will come out far ahead
