Really liked how you identified the rule errors and showed how they impacted the game. Makes me wonder how many uncorrected errors have impacted my gameplay throughout the years!

Another great video. Thank you for taking the time. Well following you on my own board, I’m learning all the intricacies of the game. I appreciate it.

I enjoy the speed in which you explain your actions and make it easy to follow. I have a question, though. When you started doing the Japanese orders with the Gilbert islands, you did not perform the HOLD order for (Japanese and american objectives)that is required in 3rd edition. Please let me know if im wrong about it. Thanks for excellent play by play.

Wow, Solomon Islands is living up to it’s nickname given to it by Japanese Soldiers. The island of death!

Yes, it's an aviation art image I found online. :)

I wanted to add that I initially passed over the game when it came out and had little interest in buying it. After watching this I realized that I passed on a great game. BGG doesn't always get it right. Perhaps the initial launch was contested with other games or something that gave it a low score.

@@wildape3210 yes, it's actually a decent game. First edition was pretty good, second edition was trash, but they worked to fix things in the third edition so I think it's just as good as the first edition, maybe a little better in some areas. Overall, a "good" game.

@@pdex2165I bought the 2nd edition via Kickstarter and then was heavily involved in helping the 3rd edition rules get created. Lots and lots of comments on BGG with others, playing the heck, out of the 2nd edition and offering suggestions.
