Finally common sense public officials have begun to do the peoples will. Clean up our public spaces. My god this is basic public leadership 101. Thank you to the Sheriff.
Something is Wrong. $110 pop up tent, New Tents $200 recliner etc. These were not authentic homeless people, someone stole items tents etc from Stores or wanted confuse issues and block Law Enforcement and Commissioners. Again Thank you City Workers and Sanitation Department.
I have heard a lot of “they should clean it up”. While I agree with the sentiment, it’s actually better not to give them a choice at some point. Seriously, these homeless will just drag it off right outside the focus zone. That’s what they do.
Sad situation which has taken about $400,000 off the value of my home in Venice. The fact remains the homeless now have access to temporary shelters so the city has every right to keep the streets clean. No one is guaranteed anything in life; so the sense of entitlement by the homeless to live where 95% of Angelenos can't afford to live leaves me not unsympathetic but certainly not willing to advocate for their situation.
I'm going to miss the filth, the used needles, the vermin, the crime, the violence, the stink, the noise, the garbage, and the lawlessness that our "unhoused neighbors" brought with them.
Being homeless is one thing, the select that are SHOOTING-UP DRUGS and HOARDING in Public areas have gone to far and we are tired of this. I have seen normal people who keep their living space clean becoming hoarders when they are on hard core drugs. We are trying to clean up one living space right now that is sadly contaminated . You cant solve this problem with HOTEL ROOMS!.
I understand that some people have no other choice no job no money no family. But they have expect that living in a tent on a sidewalk is not a long term plan. And I'm am sure that some have drug problems also
I live here in LA. This is MOSTLY drug addiction. And a new breed of people who WANT to live in tents, off the grid, fortified with food, water and money provided by do-gooders.
Where are they gonna go? They'll just move to another community neighborhood and repeat homeless lifestyle all over again and again and again "THEY LIVE OUTSIDE" they're not Animals We need to get together as human beings and help them get INSIDE a real 🏠 House
Who is paying for this? They have been offered housing but will not accept due to rules. So, not much more you can do. Do you want them to come live in your neighborhood? Allow them to cause complete havoc?
@@Nbdycares2 true enough well, what the hell am i donna do. Throw them Out! Call the police all they gonna do is do'em a favor in house them for couple of days and guess what! They be right out there homeless again in your neighborhood. Its a very serious situation.
Street homeless live very simple and modest life. It is a minimalist type of life. They don't need much, so they don't ask for much. They find a camping spot, and it becomes their new home with new stories and memories. They prefer being left alone as they are. The only thing they really want and think about is fentanyl. They are all fentanyl addicts, and there is no solution for it. Large majority of them will die from fentanyl overdose or drugs related violence.

Also you need a wood chipper feed the homeless in the front and bag and tag the other end problem solved
Sheriff did really hold it down tho.
Beds, chairs, couches, tables, lamps! What the heck? I’m glad Venice is getting their city back.
The homeless don't need that much junk
If your going to sit around all day and do Meth you need your queen sized bed or a lazy boy chair!
And alot don,t have much, and keep there area clean ,almost like i want to give them a pass ! ( almost)
They should do this 24 hrs a day 7 days a week !!!
I'd have more sympathy if they'd clean up after themselves.
There's a point where sympathy ends and you just have get the front end loader!
No excuse for living in filth and polluting wherever you damn please!
They can sure steal a lot with stolen shopping carts.

Bullshit they leave this big mess like this they ought to be made to clean it up! So what do they do now go somewhere else to make a big mess?? .🤔😝
I have heard a lot of “they should clean it up”. While I agree with the sentiment, it’s actually better not to give them a choice at some point. Seriously, these homeless will just drag it off right outside the focus zone. That’s what they do.
There are always goody two shoes complaining, let them take the homeless to their houses then!
The materials should have been in dumpsters and now the city has to pay 💰 extra to remove it.

@ColinMcCabe okay boyo.
@ColinMcCabe shut up dufus. I read about 5 lines of that shit and pissed my pants.
@ColinMcCabe what is your suggestion for dealing with this crisis?
Just where do they get all these furniture at and how do they haul it from where they get it from to where their tent is at ?
I'm pretty sure all the junk just follows them home at night!
@@martykroenecke4273 yea sure it jumps on the bus and goes to where they are camping at
Campground is closed everybody!
That's not a bulldozer....

They weren’t unhoused, NOW they are unhoused ….
@@1deadhead : I wouldn't call a tent pitched on pubic space a house.
Good job with the clean up !!
Where`s the homeless union rep ?
😂

Property...?
Remind me to put my property can out on monday, because the city's property management is coming with their property truck.
They should have never tore-down POP
The homeless “wino’s” were SO happy and not seen, living under the pier ….
Thats not property ! It s trash ! Litter ! WTF...they were warned at the beginning of july ? It,s labor day ? What do they not understand ?
It’s abandoned so the city has right of salvage. So to speak.
Coming to a city near you. I can't wait.
Things are getting funky🏛👀🥸🗞
They don't have to give notice for vagrants. Check out the law.
Nothing is being stored are u serious. Wtf is all trash what do u store? Smfh.
I'm sure they were given notice and they are on private property.
@ColinMcCabe stop being a bossy pants
THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE. SEE HOW EASY IT WAS????????
Sad situation.
So wasteful. They act like the things have no value. Like my home that was stolen I had valuable things I can't get back bc my ID was stolen
How did your ID get stolen? That's something i like to keep on my person yo
I understand that some people have no other choice no job no money no family. But they have expect that living in a tent on a sidewalk is not a long term plan. And I'm am sure that some have drug problems also
Does anyone need a notice telling them you can't set up camp on the sidewalk?

Heck, if you BA a givin free housing to the homeless, I’ll stop paying rent and live for FREE ! Where do I sign up ?
I bet a lot of them come right back...
They just left.. that's interesting looks like they left everything..why and where did they go..
Who let that shit happen?
State and local Politicians
People who don't live there. Next time the homeless need to camp in front of the mayor's, and city council's homes.
The liberal progressives and their laws..the ACLU suing everyone into submission. The lack of will of our politicians.
TWEEKERS ROMPER ROOM FILTH PATHETIC THEY ALLOWED IT TO GET THIS FAR
We're going to need a bigger truck.🤔
Only in America
You need to get out more. I've seen way more homeless traveling in Europe and the UK.
Jesus the sidewalks are yellow with urine and feces stains I bet that smells real good in the hot sun behind gold's gym
Its not a bulldozer its a different kind of tractor.
Frontend loader ! And they should have used them from the start ! What these workers encounter,d ,in these rat nest ? YUKKK...
Where did all these people go did the city give all expense paid vacations remember gods children lol
Safety hazard
Nothing is being “stored”. Who in their right mind stores trash! The camera man sounds homeless himself
